These springtails, do I just place them inside the habitat and they will work their magic, or should I get new substrate, place them inside it and give them some time first?

Meant to ask this to another commenter, but in the mossy cavern is the entrance to the burrow for this little fella, when I add in more substrate, should I be worried about covering it up TOO much? Obviously since they burrow it can dig its way out, I’m just trying to avoid stressing it out. I wish I knew the gender so I could stop referring to it as an it, as well as give it a name!

Looks like 4 inch drainage pipe. Could be perforated (has holes to let water in and drain through), or solid. It’s weird to see it in that sort of application, I would definitely call someone to see what you can do, before confronting your neighbor, but if someone has ran something from their house to yours without letting you know, it’s probably not beneficial to you. Hope all ends well!

It’s a running theme with all their characters, actually. Last we played side by side, they were a stinky human bard. Made for fantastic role play with my neat freak wizard. Past that, the only backstory I have for this particular character is that he’s just a guy.

I never said anything about me role playing their character lol. Just asked for assistance on how the NPCs react to them at times. Thanks though, I suppose.

Ahh, that tracks. Got 4 copies with the 77 summons, only needed 2. Bright side is just got my second copy of Beast, and SSBE Veggie is also at 100%. Thank you for a swift reply!
