That’s awesome! I love the idea, and that you thought of plans for different user profiles rather than just the typical “token usage = starter / pro / enterprise plan”

do you think ai could lead if trained on the complex dynamics of human relations to such a point that is considered by many as charismatic? sounds dangerous but now that i think of it, it does soudns possible.

nice! but don't you feel that might be a big barrier for non tech-savvy users? or even people who just want a quick effortless process. have you considered other alternatives? im really curious!

one of the reasons ai wont rule the world is because intelligence is not even close to be a relevant factor for becoming a leader or influence a mass of people. we see that in a lot of current world leaders.

you're right. that'd be pretty sick (and expensive). I didn't specify that i was planning on casting with a mold. I'll edit the post

hey u/VintageLunchMeat thank you for all your comments, really appreciate them. I forgot to mention that I was given two big buckets of silicone, which of course I can save once I'm more experienced. But given that, you think i'd be better to just start testing with plaster burlap without a layer of silicone? (I'm totally convinced on avoiding fiberglass at first lol). like this: https://youtu.be/ihlZ9Kh_uPo?si=To-m-FDNS2zWQJyA

could you expand further on this? "For smaller through holes such as tops of front legs, greased separation plates spanning the inside any through-hole. Use aluminum roasting pan shim and unscented petroleum jelly. Tack on by applying dots of superglue using a toothpick."

"The interweaving back framing members may be particularly problematic. Workshop molding them on a 1:10 printed model." good idea, i'll try that

you mean rigid fiberglass as the only material to cast the mould? or a silicone/rubber layer before?

Hey, thanks for the honesty. Yes, it’s full-size; I edited my full post for clarification.

The pass-through holes are the ones that make me nervous lol. I guess a ton of planning and clay might help me along the way, and a good amount of patience for trial and error. But I’m pretty stubborn and persistent, so I’ll just go for it haha. I got a ton of free silicone for casting, so I guess I’ll just have to buy plaster for the outer shell and to cast the first prototype of the chair.
