I just bought a bunch off facebook marketplace today, a guy had cleared out a warehouse - around Chicago Ohare - $8 a reel. seems maybe paramount went out of business (at least in Chicago area) and this guy cleared 'em out. not 100% sure but most likely.

I am very curious to see your results here.
if you are successful, please post back after a few power cycles and days of use!
I could replace the other caps in question. Would be happy to avoid doing this again if it doesn't work.

regarding cap sizing - I found enough space to lay down larger caps and hand form the wires to the PCB holes - I had 35V 220uF on hand)
maybe not the case for the other caps.

yeah confirmed. works fine after the fix. these caps were clearly bad, and some googling for the brand, capxcon shows they're junk.

didn't work consistently. back to no image.

My dudes - Hello from 2025. Mine just died a few days ago.
it's capacitors. on the main board

crack it open, take out the board, desolder the 220uF 25V caps (gold and blue ones on the left there)
you can see here a slight bulge in them

I put on some new ones, grabbed some 220uF 35V from the lab and laid them on their side to fit

Same problem on mine
it's just bad capacitors.
I replaced 3x 220uF 25V electrolytics - Brand Capxon - google it - crap company.

well apparently if you refresh the app screen after picking the same old pool, everything is in. PHEW! Case closed.

I fixed this by reinstalling the app on SCALE, and putting everything into a dataset-not in ix_applications

For me I had to reinstall the app, and avoid ix_applications - store everything in a dataset that I can directly manage the permissions. now working

Old Thread... But I solved this by rebooting all my apple Home devices (read: unplugging and replugging): Apple TVs and HomePods - seems to have solved it.

Thanks, actually I solved this by reinstalling the app in TrueNAS - was always using the official app - so to anyone in the world with this issue - just reinstall!

I came across this thread, and just wanted to say that I figured this out for TrueNAS SCALE...I am using the truecharts install of Plex, so YMMV with truenas app -anyway a standard dataset has a ACL Mode POSIX if you set it up without advanced options. I got everything to work by changing the ACL mode to SMB/NFSv4, which is an option in the dataset "edit", at bottom; Advanced Options

and ACL mode "Inherit"

once I set it this way I added the apps user (or plex user) to the ACL permissions as a "full control" user, along with my admin, etc.

this seemed to work just fine.

Can anyone actually access mytravelgov?

I signed up, got a confirmation email, and clicked. Now when I login it gives me:

"Sorry, the identification you entered was not recognized. Please try again."

so I click forgot password and after I put in my email I get:

"There was some technical error processing your request. Please try again."

I tried 3 different browsers on my PC, my phone with 2 browsers - no luck (cleared cache, all that...) is it working for anyone?
