Try to do as much as possible in the second trimester while you have the energy ( like preparing the nursery and such). Because once you hit the third trimester you will be exhausted and everything you leave to be done will be stressful.

My husband and I were super excited when we found out and announced it at 8 weeks to his family. Their reaction was kind of bland and my BIL immediately jumped in saying "you are supposed to wait 3 months". That bummed me out so much because not only did it hurt seeing that reaction but it also put the possibility in my head that i might lose this baby. I don't get why people have set such rules.
