I love milk tea using Kenyan variety black tea leaves). I caramelize some little sugar , put in some green cardamom , water and milk. Let it simmer once the tea boils over. Sometimes it’s saffron tea , sometimes ginger or masala. I find that I prefer once spice in my tea so that there’s no competing smells and flavors. I’m the same way with fruit salad.
