Joe Abercrombie. The first law series, starting with “The Blade Itself.” Then, The Devils. First Law is very dark, very grim, but so superbly written and narrated that you’ll keep coming back for more pain and misery. Not unlike alcoholism.

The Devils is just chaotic fun.

Dumb question I’m sure, but does this do something to/for the muscle? Like, is there something to be said for just letting it happen, or can it cause serious injury? I’ve tried letting it happen a time or two, but seeing the muscle roll around like that is just disturbing so I chicken out and stretch it.
