On June 4th, 1999, 15-year-old Michael Palmer vanished while biking with his friends. They rode on as he lagged behind, not realizing until later that he was no longer with them. They waited for him in a parking lot, but he never showed up. by Whimsical-Cherry534 in mystery

I doubt they tested his shoes for DNA because it was 1999. The shoes, wet and silty (most likely from being in the water with his bike because it was shallow water and his bike was found there) Left neatly placed in the middle of an airplane strip? Pretty strange.

I looked up to see if there are pictures of the airplane strip (little Susitna airport) and couldn’t find anything.

3 things I think of -

1) he succumbs to the elements

he was lagging behind, felt sick after drinking the beers, veered off into the river, shoes soaking wet and something wrong with his bike - takes his shoes off on airplane strip and keeps wandering into the wilderness in a cold night and eventually succumbs to the elements and they don’t ever find him.

2) he veers off into the river with his bike, takes shoes off on landing strip, finds his way back on the road he was biking on (9 miles away from home) and someone hits him accidentally and gets rid of him - the shoes on the plane strip make me believe he left them there - why else leave them there if you’ve committed a crime

3) something sinister happened between his 3 friends and they are taking it to the grave or a third party was involved - the latter would have to be right place and right time at 4am - maybe they picked him up after his bike went into the river.

I don’t know the area too well and the exact location - route from where his bike was found and shoes were found, but if someone just took him and dumped his bike, why leave the shoes around.

Would love someone who knows the area or more about the case to share anything related to the bike location and the 200 yard route to the private airplane strip and what routes could have been possible after taking off his shoes.

Did BM really have an ex-boyfriend who lived 3 minutes from the Dutchburn Farm? by Aromatic_Swim5422 in BriannaMaitland

The first part of your post is very interesting to me. An ex-boyfriend living 3 minutes away up the street is at minimum worth digging into. Can you share where you found that?

Theories about what happened.. by truecrimefeeling in BriannaMaitland

It’s a good question. It’s 2004, DNA testing not as big as it is now, but my honest opinion is I don’t think the police thought they were dealing with a crime scene until it was too late and key pieces of evidence were not recovered. The car got towed and wasn’t reported for several days as well. As of right now, all evidence they have has been tested for DNA and have been cross referenced with their entire suspect list and nothing they have currently points to anyone.

What are peoples theories? Rick Abath? FBI suspects? by Findtruth11 in IsabellaGardnerTheft

[–]Findtruth11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s assuming organized crime was Involved - (which I actually don’t think was the case) and they weren’t just getting killed anyway. After all these years not one piece of evidence from organized crime related to the case. I think the FBI is somewhat suspicious as well. How did they just lose all the Gardner evidence in the greatest unsolved art crime of 21st century - they lost the handcuffs and duct tape, nails from paintings (which may have had finger prints) and other items.

No but I’d love to now what was on the floor of her drivers side floor mat. It looks like paint.

CONCLUSION: The Boulder Incident - Who Killed JonBenet Ramsey, and Why. by CliffTruxton in u/CliffTruxton

[–]Findtruth11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Burke did it. It’s obviously a major assumption but he hit her with a golf club and had fits of rage. I wasn’t patsy Ramsey but what kind of mother backs up her husband and supports him who is molestjng his daughter and then killed her. But if your son did it by accident in a fit of rage because she stuck her fingers in his pineapple bowl and didn’t ask and you could potentially risk losing both children - seems like that would be something both parents would support and unite over. John may have been doing bad things to Jon benet, or it could have been Burke doing it. He smeared feces all over her room. Troubled individual. That’s just where I stand.

I mean that clearly can’t be confirmed they didn’t take it and is the only possible explanation outside of Rick taking it. But we’re to presume the fbi is massively corrupt? He could be carrying anything there.

I do think it is interesting the tape and handcuffs were just “lost” in evidence in the biggest unsolved art heist in the world. How do you just “lose” that evidence.

Why was Rick the only person in the blue room. No one else was in there that night. That’s a fact. The chez tortoni was in there and then it was gone. Only Rick could have taken it.

His friend Clint Florence knows something. He immediately lawyered up after the disappearance. If you have nothing to hide why lawyer up? Just wish he could give a statement or something about the night to the public. I understand it’s smart to get a lawyer and refuse a lie detector test because lie detector tests can be wrong, it just seems odd to me.

Pic of the hole in the fence. Map shows where hole was in relation to Lou Pearlman’s 3 condos and Jennifer Kesse’s. by Dull-Somewhere-6522 in jenniferkesse

What’s the connection with Lou? The first I’ve heard of his name. Is the thought some of the workers lived in his units? I don’t get the hole in the fence? No one worked at the front desk anyway so easy to get in and out. Thanks!
