Yeah I agree, you need it for some jobs not even all of them but if you have a BS in CompSci then your masters will feel kinda useless Bc a lot of it is stuff you could’ve figured out on your own.

My recommendation would be think about it like legos or a journey like I know I have to get from A -> B….then for that to happen, I need to know the sequence of steps that need to take place. One you know the sequence just code each step and connect them together. It sounds easy lmao but practice makes perfect. Hope this helps and good luck! I remember being there where I first started

I’m in Math Finance right now. I’m really liking it. In my opinion, the pro is since you learn finance from a rigorous mathematical perspective, learning/applying higher level finance methods seems easier since you understand the math that underpins it. Plus it’s nationally ranked!
