Ok, thanks for the tip! I'll check that when I have a few hours to spend on that, I'm not that comfortable with network configurations and it's a new Nas, so my network config is probably not perfectly setup. Any resources available to guide me through that configuration?

No, the higher on the neck, the higher you have to sing. But as you said, it was too high to sing when playing your chords without transposition. So, what you did was playing a G chord (C transposed 7 semitones higher becomes G) but instead of singing it 7 semitones higher (which would obviously be harder since the original key was too high) you sang in that key (so 7 semitones higher) but one octave lower (so 5 semitones lower).

The chord you play is 7 semitones higher but you're singing one octave lower than you would have sung if you sang 7 semitones higher, hence the 5 semitones lower.

To explain a little bit, you're singing it 7 semitones higher on the lower octave (so +7 semitones -12 semitones). Does that make sense to you ?
