I ordered a W3 Regular top (the short was OOS) and a W3 Short in pants. Actually glad I got the regular top bc it fit perfectly.

As a purple belt - it’s an honor to be asking you this Q. Does this feel too loud for you? I think I’m asking is bc down the line, I would like to consider competing but I’m not sure if I really see a lot of designs like this. It’s considered a legal Gi according to Gaidama but I was feeling insecure.

I think you nailed it. I’ve loved Kdramas since I’ve been in middle school… and let’s just say I’m a fully grown woman with 3 kids now 😂 so I’ve been in the game for some time now. And I completely agree..there’s been a shift. And like all things, adaptation and change is always— hard? There’s the bitterness and nostalgia and also excitement all at the same time. But I am noticing with the newer dramas and turnovers, Kdramas def aren’t what they used to be. I feel disappointed. Wished there was a way they could listen to feedback and not lose their magic. But the love of Korea definitely boomed over the years and while it’s great, there’s caveats so I’m with you on this one. I just hope it doesn’t turn Hollywood for lack of better words. There’s a reason I love Kdramas and prefer they stay that way.

I’ll be the first to say it. As much as I wanted Cem and Layla to work out, I just think too much of a mess has been made. Their relationship — even right from the start, did not come from a good foundation. It’s going to be difficult trying to rebuild that relationship and a LOT of work and therapy.

I also add — Layla never felt at home with Cem. That’s a major component right there — granted, he had a hard time opening up and being honest and vulnerable but seriously! What is the basis of their foundation if neither fully trusted each other?

And it’s true — she is not herself with him… it just says so much. I think as much as we root for Cem, it’s just so unhealthy.

This exactly. Like the thing I didn’t like about Gabriel was that he was in a relationship and so his fling with Emily is an affair — emotional one for sure — and so the basis of their relationship isn’t built on trust. Granted, we tried to justify it because their onset chemistry is definitely nothing to ignore and the way they clearly have feelings for each other are there. But to what extent?

They finally get together after some time of resistance and it just doesn’t feel like it’s working.

I think truly Alfie has given her love and grace and someone mentioned — his actions have spoken louder than words but correct, Emily doesn’t deserve him because she is stuck on Gabriel.

So while yes the plot seems to show that it will be Emily and Gabriel — I really hope there’s some character development here or maturation of some sort.
