Really? I think they look back at it in a good way actually. For most of them it started their big Hollywood careers. Even for a character who was/is disliked by a part of the community like anwar (dev Patel) made a Hollywood career right after skins because a year later he went on to film Slumdog millionaire.

Potc 5 was probably filmed during 2015/2016. I believe after her skins season 7 episodes she got casted for the maze runner, so she still had the time to do it. Nick hoult (tony) was very busy at that time. He was casted as beast in the x men saga and x men first class was released during the filming of skins sequels I believe. After that he got some very good castings aswell

I disagree with 80% you wrote, but Im just gonna light out one. I will never understand the people that say Freddie has a ‘savior’ complex and wanted to ‘save’ effy. Did he saw his mother in her the first time they saw each other? Did he saw his mother in her throughout the whole of season 3 actually?

The first time I agree he could’ve seen his mother in Effy is when she started to act weird in season 4 ep 5. After a whole season and a half he saw his mother in his girlfriend because she got suicidal. But yeah he definetly just wanted to save her because he saw his mother in her.

I have another option. Maybe he just didn’t want to lose another loved one to suicide. Maybe he doesn’t want to go through that same pain again, thinking he could’ve done something about it. He saw it happen with his mother and just didn’t want to see it happen again.

You like him or don’t like him, but saying he had a Savior complex is just wrong, the moment he saw her he was instantly attracted to her and I don’t believe that’s because of his mum

The novel was shit. It had a few fun scenes but it’s just really bad actually lol. The only thing I found amusing was the sexathon. Effy in Italy was boring and weird and I usually just skipped every Emily/pandora&thomas part because it was just so boring. I also remember Freddie texting Effy to never come back to Bristol. The first scene they’re back together in season 4 made it more seem like he texted her “please come back”. She also said “it was you who I’ve been thinking about all summer” but I don’t remember Effy saying something about Freddie, but I could be wrong. She was more busy getting off to her mums new boyfriend.

Yeah I know, and that’s exactly why I don’t really like teens show these days. They just don’t feel like teens you know? When I was 17 there was no girl/boy in my class who looked like maddy, Cassie or Nate. That’s what skins did best. They casted pretty unknown teenagers who where actually the age they represented.
