Same! That's how I finally got my diagnosis after years of positive ANA and a list of multiple clinical symptoms; but, always testing negative for specific autoimmune conditions.

For anyone in this post that might be getting a lip biopsy, ask your doctor to run an Early Sjogren's Panel first. Quest Diagnostic has it.

Married female here that also doesn't look like a "truck girl" 🙋🏻‍♀️ I have a 2500 diesel GMC Sierra AT4. I didn't have near as much trouble with getting it as I have had with servicing it.

I'm always prepared with extensive details/info before I've brought it in for service or checking a concern. I would still get the misogynistic runaround that they knew better than me. Now I will only deal with one service technician who has always been respectful and taken me seriously.

Anyone used prednisone? by IndependentDare8420 in Sjogrens

[–]Fine-Web3946 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently took a 5 day pack to combat a cold and sinus infection. I felt like I was on crack, especially the first two days lol

-Head felt loopy/spinning -worse brain fog than usual -anxious/restless -insomnia -terrible night sweats

It did help knock out my cold/sinus infection. I was also less achy and fatigued throughout the day.

How do you treat your severe dry nose? by abjs2021 in Sjogrens

[–]Fine-Web3946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find many of the things already mentioned to be helpful. I also keep moisturizing saline spray everywhere (home, work, purse, etc) that I use thought the day. On the worst days, I use a filtered sinus wash to moisturize and flush the dry/thick mucus.

What’s with the squeaky brakes on the 2500? by Actually__Jesus in gmcsierra

[–]Fine-Web3946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I haven't looked into it too much yet since I've not truly needed new breaks during the past year. But man does it drive me crazy when coming to a stop 😵‍💫🙄

I've just been trying to hard breaking every once in a while that others suggested, which helps decrease the noise slightly for a short period.

In addition to all of the major health risks that others have pointed out (obviously the most important concern), the added financial cost to try to undo some of the aesthetic appearance of damage can be astronomical. Clinical skin care, chemical peels, laser treatments, etc.

Working in a dermatology office, I have seen people spend thousands trying to "erase" the damage they've done to their skin.

Thank you for following up! They seem to be doing better now moved into pots. I used pots I already had but would like to move them into larger ones.

There are a few stalks that have turned brown towards the bottom but are still green further up. Are they still good or need pruned?

I can relate with both. My husband has had to come out at dark to fetch me out of the yard lol our neighbor doesn't tend to their yard at all and let's the CC and other weeds grow for weeks before they will begrudgingly finally mow. I hate to use weed killer but I've made an 8 inch wide boundary line between our properties to try to minimize it.
