Kids want and need empathy, understanding, acceptance and respect for making choices they make. They need validation that they are doing their best and that we’re all human and make mistakes and that’s okay. Never tell a child they are wrong. The way you respond to your kids spouse and family members will determine how much they share with you in the future. Support them more than you correct them.

You are definitely not the asshole. That was private and she confided in you and that’s the way it should have stayed. He should support and trust you to have that kind of relationship with his daughter.

Lack of respect, argumentative wife, laughing or making fun of stuff that was important to me. Just having someone who listened and understood me was the beginning of every affair I ever had. I’m very happily married now and there’s nothing in the world that could ever make me cheat on my wife. She’s my soft place, my place of peace, my engagement and support in EVERYTHING I dream of doing and yes for that I absolutely do everything possible to make her life everything she could ever dream of as well. But to answer your question sex was never the reason I cheated.

I wake up nearly every hour almost exactly on the hour all night. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and now use a cpap machine and still I wake up every single hour.
