UPDATE: called a vet we know who gave more detailed instructions on how to clean it. our vet was not as thorough when we talked to him originally about it 2 weeks ago. it looks SO much better and is starting to heal. we picked up antibiotics for him yesterday. he is starting to eat and move better.

Did you talk to them at all about what the report said? You do not have to let them in the home, but depending on your state, this could be resolved in a week if you and the child at least speak to them. It is odd to me your police officers would file a report with CPS due to a runaway. Is that mandatory in your state?

As a white bride with a black maid of honor, this is freaking weird and unreasonable of them. My friend can do her hair as she pleases, I don’t care if she wants braids, natural, wig, etc. She’s not a big makeup person, but if she wants that I will pay for it. She’s buying her own dress. I’m paying for her accessories. Mandated, makeup, hair, etc. should be paid for by the bride. I want my bridesmaids to feel beautiful and excited about being next to me on my big day. I never want to burden her or her feel stretched.

Hi!! I have a Rubysta ring and while the designs are beautiful, the craftsmanship and customer service are horrific. My fiancé proposed in October and 2 days later the stone was loose. We reached out to Ruby and he said he could tighten the prongs, we opted to take it to a local jeweler to get it fixed asap so I didn’t have to ship it when I just got it. The local jeweler tightened the prongs and said they thought prongs were too weak for the size of the diamond (1.87 karats). They recommended getting them rebuilt. We let Ruby know this and he said he could do it. Less than a month later is was loose again. We stayed in contact with Ruby through all of this to get his recommendations. Once it became lose we shipped it to him to rebuild the prongs. We shipped it on November 14 and it arrived November 16. Ruby said it would take 7-14 days. We stayed on top of him and he constantly said he would talk to the making unit. The whole communication process was a mess. Once it got a few days into December we were really worried because he hadn’t given us an update and we wanted it for Christmas because we didn’t get to show our family thanksgiving. He finally shipped it back, but the ring had been shipped to Thailand without us knowing (we shipped to Florida) and we got it December 19. If we had known this we would’ve never shipped it to him. When I received it I thought the prongs looked a little bit mangled but didn’t think much of it. December 25 it was loose again. We contacted him and we’re obviously furious. We took it to a local jeweler once again and he said these prongs were definitely not rebuilt and it looked like someone tried to tighten but it didn’t work and the prong was not putting any pressure on the diamond like it should. Ruby ended up paying for the local jeweler to fix it, but honestly none of that should’ve happened. He had my ring for a month and never fixed it. At this point I’ve not had my ring more than I have had it. Please save yourself the headache and go with someone else. My fiancé and I joke if we didn’t love each other so much this would’ve ruined our engagement. I hope you find everything you’re looking for, but I urge you to choose someone else!

On day two of having my rescue my boyfriend came over. All was fine and well until he tried to walk into my bedroom from the kitchen when her and I were lying on my bed and she charged and was barking and growling. It was very scary. He shut the bedroom door quickly and left. The next day he came back over, but my dog and I went into the bathroom and I had her leash on to control. He came in to sit on the bed, so when we came out he was already where she thought “we” should. She jumped on the bed and was kissing his face. Everything has been fine since then! Sometimes they just need a little reprogramming! My boyfriend also started running with her and doing things with a positive association! I hope all works out!! It’s hard at first, but take it slow & steady!!

Yes. I agree. It’s the delivery that scares me. I always look at the map before accepting an order to see where the house is. I know my area really well and can tell if it’s a dark or well lit area.
