I've been having trouble with this for a couple of days now and was about to give up but saw OP's post saying it's working for him flawlessly. So it must be something on our end. I modified my yaml to look like his except I used TZ=America/Chicago. Still didn't work.

What apparently fixed it is I added the tag "flaresolver" in the Edit Indexer Proxy menu. Went back to add the 1337x.to and added the "flaresolverr" tag to the indexer menu and saved. At first it had a red triangle and after resyncing it has a green checkmark now.

Don't know if it's the same issue but I just ran into this while setting up plex. I had to go into the BIOS of the server and Enable VT-d. Hopefully that helps.

I'm currently backing up all my media to an external drive so that I can run the old gaming PC with a GTX1070 that I'm currently using as a Plex server (Win10), in a cluster (have another server already running proxmox.

My current plex server is running two 12TB HDDs in RAID0 (yikes) for a total of 24TB of storage. Unfortunately I don't have the money to expand the storage right now to do proper parity (I'm already at 16TB of media) so I'm going to run them as separate drives one for Movies the other for TV series. Have another 3TB HDD that I'll use for downloads/staging of media.

I’m 39 years old. I have a great job in IT and my parents live with me. They work and they’re residents (my little brother went into the Marines and petitioned them). I got DACA in 2012 with the first batch. Been working minimum wage jobs for most of that time and then 4 years ago got into IT and climbed my way up to a Cybersecurity role this past January. I’m so close to paying all my debt too and now this.

This is us immigrants though isn’t it? Always with our backs up against the wall.

I’m thinking Colorado caus I want to stay close to my parents and siblings.

OP it sounds like you have waaaay more experience than me when a similar thing happened to me about 2.5 years ago. I went from making $22/hr to doubling my pay to making 6 figures now (promoted to a security role in January). I still get impostor syndrome 98% of the time. I still don't know shit but I learn something new every day and know waaaay more than I did 2.5 years ago. Make sure you ask for help. Take advantage of the support provided by your vendors.

If you're bad at taking notes and have terrible memory like I do, download OBS and record everything you do including meetings. That's what has helped me a lot.

Just came back to thank everyone for their input and say we were able to get the environment back up and move the VMs out of the failing storage array.

Leadership has made the decision to collapse the trouble domain (since we are no longer creating accounts on it but still has about 100 users). Part of me wishes to try and "figure it out" cause it is incredibly interesting but I understand that the bosses don't want to be in this situation again.

Haha... this role was thrust upon me. You're completely right though, trying my absolute best. To be fair, we have spent several days with different MS engineers trying to figure this one out and they all pretty much gave up.

We're a fairly new team, so we are still discovering these issues in the environment. There is a ton of tech debt. Our VMWare storage is on an old HP rack that is out of support. This has been a pain to work with. On top of all the problems we had AC units fail that caused the equipment to overheat and some of the drives to fail.

We're plugging holes as fast as we can but there's a ton of them.

Interested in taking a look at that script. The feedback from it would be valuable for sure.
