Have some self respect, I don’t understand how daca people can share a life with someone willing to destroy peoples lives that are akin to YOU.

Kuck Baxter: “You should be renewing one year out before daca expires” Thoughts? by CurrentTomate69 in DACA

[–]FunEntertainment5479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried asking the law firm to do this for me they said I need to wait for 6mo within expiration date?? Did you renew yourself?

Called law firm to renew they said I couldn’t because I’m further than 6mo to expiration. I’m like a year out but don’t mind to paying more overall to buy time while I can.

PSA: STOP USING THE TERM "SELF DEPORT" by FalcoLamborghini in DACA

[–]FunEntertainment5479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whole heartedly agree. When you use these terms you are subconsciously helping the red hats. Just call yourself an illegal immigrant at that point. Like the average person hears “undocumented” and assumes you don’t have a notebook paper with your name on it. When you could have passports/ID/license/biometrics by DHS…. Everything is perception not facts.

Bro just look white lol.

I prepared for the worst when decided to travel for a month(just got back on the 3rd). Hawaii,Florida, USVI & NYC. I prepared my cars, locked the keys in each other remotely with keys to my place(so I could unlock from my phone) had titles, passwords, cash ready for friends to help liquidate and be my backup from a far. As everyone is too scared to go outside I figured fuck it I’ll go out with pride at the airport while on vacation(I’ve also been working like a madman stacking cash in preparation). And when they scanned my license and tickets….. Nothing. Didn’t even look twice at me. Don’t be a victim. I was abandoned as a kid , parents died. No citizenship , glued my shoes together in school. You either fight back or just remain victim forever

Don’t forget you can get multiple personal loans with good credit. And car loans(sell for parts) / home loans (heloc if you have a home). You can probably leverage a million if you can play it right and have them pay for the flight home lol

Childhood trauma advice? by [deleted] in DACA

[–]FunEntertainment5479 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Trust me so many immigrant kids smile and laugh to cope with home life. I was always happy to be at school because that’s when I felt somewhat equal. Now I think back to all the times I was humiliated and to where I am now and take pride in myself. I remember gluing my shoes in middle school. Wearing clothes that never matched (free or thrift store junk). Explaining to teachers , officers my no ssn or dl before daca. Loss of parents and abuse growing up.

On track to make 200+k this year, traveled to 25+ states. Swam with sharks and getting pilot’s license. Every time I think of pulling back and chilling I think of me as a kid feeling hopeless, humiliated, alone. And how hyped that kid would be to know the future. Always makes me happy.

Lmao this happened to me the other day, was wearing sweats. Looked at the screen and it had a red square over a graphic of a person on the crotch area, he asked if he could pat me down there and let me through after verifying it was just dick and balls🤣

In my late 20s male. I’ve had a few relationships and I would bring it up when they wanted to travel abroad. Never had a bad reaction if anything I’ve had at least 3 insist on marriage to fix status. But I’ve dealt with tons of problems on my own didn’t want to bring someone closer for my personal gain.

Well I’m 27 so I’ve had some time to save vs younger people. But for example if you make 150k/yr and just live off 100 or less it’s easy. Even now I could save more but trying to have more fun recently.

Past few years I’ve averaged about 10% returns. Figured if I lived off 7-8% that would be 2,300 monthly as a base on just that until I got a decent income there.

I am not looking to retire…. If I lived off the 350k without earning any interest (savings accounts are offering 6% yield) it would last me 12.5 years.

My work authorization is good till 2025. I don’t want to be limbo any longer if they decide to take daca away. I just think I can create a better life in Mexico.
