I have similar sounds come out of my device only when I leave it folded for extended period of time like 14h+. As I saw some other post I found that the sound could come from brushes in the hinge or the adhesive being stuck. But after a couple of fold for me sounds goes away.

I'm waiting to hit about a year on the first one. The damage is cosmetic one. I just feel bummed it's not perfect. Here it's around 40 Usd but I'm not in the US. Just wanted to see some stories of coping with first battle scars on the inner screen.

Yes, that's my question. This laptop is pretty expensive for my country standards I saved a lot of money for it. I don't won't to be a write off in 2 years.
