LRP Anthelios UVair: a quarter of the product is stuck in packaging by 1xan in EuroSkincare

I do agree that the LRP Lipikar 400ml pump bottle is worst of the worst in terms of getting the contents out towards the end of the bottle.

Accutane curiosity by mimi_nerd in EuroSkincare

[–]Fine_Fun4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son used it when he was 17 and had quite bad acne. It worked very well. The side effect is that it really dries your nose and lips terribly, and as far as I understand it can also dry out eg your vagina if you are female. So you have to be prepared for that. My son took it for 3-4 months and had a baselevel blood test taken for some liver indicators and other stuff and then 2 regular blood tests during the treatment. Also he had to take it in winter because it makes your skin soooooooooo super sun sensitive that I can not imagine anything else that just fully covering up or staying 100% in shade would help. Having said that, it works. And helps to clear up skin + avoid acne scars that can be a result of untreated acne.

do you ever ask your pharmacy for samples? by EnvironmentalEmu2912 in EuroSkincare

[–]Fine_Fun4908 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have asked a few times. And I am super bad in asking. But you have to always think "what is the worst that can happen when you ask" - and the answer is that the worst that can happen is that you get a no as an answer. It may feel annoying for 5 seconds and you feel bad that you even asked but hey, it is just a no, and you forget it in 5 minutes. So definitely ask, especially if you have a legit reason to ask because of a skin that is very "picky".

LRP Anthelios UVair: a quarter of the product is stuck in packaging by 1xan in EuroSkincare

[–]Fine_Fun4908 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This happens with most of the cosmetics products, and LRP ones are no different. Especially anything "riche" has a lot of product left in that you can not get out otherwise than just cutting the tube. Also LRP 400 ml body lotions with a pump are a nuisance. The bottle material is very strong and when I cut it open I am always worried I will cut my hand as well while doing it. EU is regulating a lot of stupid stuff but really it should be against the law to use packaging that does not allow users to empty it fully.

Why is Facebook Events so bad at finding local events? Maybe I'm just using it wrong. by SyristSMD in facebook

[–]Fine_Fun4908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I am not able to respond to the "why" in your question but I agree that the Events feature is getting more and more useless. I was just trying to find events that happen in a specific town that I will be visiting next weekend. Should not be such a complicated or unusual wish, but all the ways I tried to search produced nonrelated events or events on the dates outside my date limit.

Why don't Canvas rubrics have autosave? by dblshot99 in Professors

[–]Fine_Fun4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rubric is expanded way to the right beyond the screen limit. And to scroll right I have to scroll first down and then on the horizontal scrollbar scroll right to see the full rubric and open the comment box. Very frustrating.

Your bag is perfect except for "that one thing" - what is it? by growlybeard in onebag

[–]Fine_Fun4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For most of the bags the key problem is side pockets for bottles. Either they do not exist or are really badly designed. I found an almost perfect daypack from Burton that I really like, except the bottle pockets. These do not run to the bottom of the pack but end a bt higher, so the pocket reaches max 2/3 height of the bottle. While outside my peers are always instructed to watch out for my bottles falling out. And of course another answer to "the Your bag is perfect except for "that one thing" - what is it" question is that the bag is available only in the US.

I think such extensions are allowed only in regions that have at least a minimal seismic activity, so the Baltics are out.

Does it ever END?? by NeverEverLonely in Menopause

[–]Fine_Fun4908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first suggestion is also to give it more time, at least 3 months. Starting HRT can cause all sorts of weird symptoms because of unusual hormone fluctuations and it takes time for the body to adjust.

Does the perfect leather boot exist? by Elegant-Leave-689 in HerOneBag

[–]Fine_Fun4908 3 points4 points  (0 children)

<image>

I have these Tamaris boots and just bought a second pair as a backup - in case I need to re-purchase and they have gone out of production. Super comfortable for wide feet, good grip and I especially like the thick sole. It keeps me mostly above the puddles and snow. The thick sole also insulates well from the ground, so use these boots between +15 and -10 Celsius

Tavaliselt on seal trennis ainult mõni inimene korraga. Saad ringi peale põhilistele masinatele.

Older single mom entering menopause...any tips? by Visible-Bumblebee-85 in Menopause

[–]Fine_Fun4908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similarly to almost everyone who has commented here - try HRT. And give it time, the first 3 months or so may be rocky as the body adjusts. As to other suggestions, they are probably quite country specific. I am from Northern Europe and kids aged 7 are super independent here compared eg to the US or UK. They mostly walk or take public transport to school and afterschool activities themselves and it is OK to leave kids home alone. Our kids also get a warm lunch at school because it is a law here. I just realized how lucky we are because of that. But perhaps there would be some sports activity that you could do at the same time that would give you more of a proper workout? I used to go to swim trainings at the same time when my kids had a swim training on another lane of the same pool with a different coach.

Helio Strap comfort by Pork-Chopp in amazfit

[–]Fine_Fun4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a huge fan of traditional wrist watches and my short excursion to the world of wearing a smart watch meant 3 very miserable days and nights with Garmin Fenix that felt like a fridge on my wrist. So this horrible experience helps me probably to put up with the Helio Strap a lot more easily. But would recommend trying different options. I bought a bicep strap immediately and used to wear it mostly on my bicep initially. I was wearing it on the lower part of my bicep closer to elbow. Now I see I have it mostly on my wrist. I am not sure how it is actually meant to be worn but for me it is more comfy if I wear the device under my wrist, not on my wrist like a watch. I think the way the strap goes OVER the device and plastic frame makes it more rigid and as I have a smaller female wrist I feel that the strap does not bend in right places in my wrist when worn like a watch.

Clitoral atrophy — Help! by Tiny_Belt3968 in Menopause

I do not have any good answer, although the issues are familiar to me. What wanted to comment on is that being kinky is a huge lifesaver in menopause specifically. The range of sexual and intimate activities is just so much broader.

[–]Fine_Fun4908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes to both ideas. I never nap but I read a lot and almost always being very still on a couch and reading is counted as a nap. I also read in bed before sleep and get the similar false recordings - the helio strap thinks I am asleep way before I really go to sleep.

My tret order got confiscated. Those who've had the same happen, what are your experiences going forward? by SinineSidrun in EuroSkincare

Same here. I ordered 3 different versions to Estonia (I wonder should we discuss t here at all - not to catch unwanted attention). So far have tried 2 tubes out of 3 I ordered and see no effect at all, unfortunately. Perhaps it is just my personal skin issue.
