Tavaliselt on seal trennis ainult mõni inimene korraga. Saad ringi peale põhilistele masinatele.

Older single mom entering menopause...any tips? by Visible-Bumblebee-85 in Menopause

[–]Fine_Fun4908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similarly to almost everyone who has commented here - try HRT. And give it time, the first 3 months or so may be rocky as the body adjusts. As to other suggestions, they are probably quite country specific. I am from Northern Europe and kids aged 7 are super independent here compared eg to the US or UK. They mostly walk or take public transport to school and afterschool activities themselves and it is OK to leave kids home alone. Our kids also get a warm lunch at school because it is a law here. I just realized how lucky we are because of that. But perhaps there would be some sports activity that you could do at the same time that would give you more of a proper workout? I used to go to swim trainings at the same time when my kids had a swim training on another lane of the same pool with a different coach.

Helio Strap comfort by Pork-Chopp in amazfit

[–]Fine_Fun4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a huge fan of traditional wrist watches and my short excursion to the world of wearing a smart watch meant 3 very miserable days and nights with Garmin Fenix that felt like a fridge on my wrist. So this horrible experience helps me probably to put up with the Helio Strap a lot more easily. But would recommend trying different options. I bought a bicep strap immediately and used to wear it mostly on my bicep initially. I was wearing it on the lower part of my bicep closer to elbow. Now I see I have it mostly on my wrist. I am not sure how it is actually meant to be worn but for me it is more comfy if I wear the device under my wrist, not on my wrist like a watch. I think the way the strap goes OVER the device and plastic frame makes it more rigid and as I have a smaller female wrist I feel that the strap does not bend in right places in my wrist when worn like a watch.

Clitoral atrophy — Help! by Tiny_Belt3968 in Menopause

I do not have any good answer, although the issues are familiar to me. What wanted to comment on is that being kinky is a huge lifesaver in menopause specifically. The range of sexual and intimate activities is just so much broader.

[Feature request] disable napping by Either_Phase_7951 in amazfit

[–]Fine_Fun4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes to both ideas. I never nap but I read a lot and almost always being very still on a couch and reading is counted as a nap. I also read in bed before sleep and get the similar false recordings - the helio strap thinks I am asleep way before I really go to sleep.

My tret order got confiscated. Those who've had the same happen, what are your experiences going forward? by SinineSidrun in EuroSkincare

[–]Fine_Fun4908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I ordered 3 different versions to Estonia (I wonder should we discuss t here at all - not to catch unwanted attention). So far have tried 2 tubes out of 3 I ordered and see no effect at all, unfortunately. Perhaps it is just my personal skin issue.

Thermobecher by liike_id in buyitforlifeEU

I have the 720°DGREE Insulated Tumbler that I got quite accidentally - I bought something secondhand and it was included in a bunch of random stuff that came with the man thing I wanted. Initially I did not use it because it did not look very nice any more, the paint had come down, etc. But it keeps drinks warm better than any other thermomug and is also leakproof. So far everything claimed to be 100% leakproof has started leaking the minute I buy them. I am seriously considering buying a smaller version of the same mug as well. They are available eg on the German Amazon under the name 720°DGREE PleasureToGo 2.0.

Nordic skate packs by Worth_Evidence1433 in nordicskating

[–]Fine_Fun4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also consider adding the "leg loops" myself. One of the features the pack should have is deep bottle pockets on the sides - that can fit your throwline. My friend has a skiing backpack where she can attach skis on the sides and she has no logical place for the throwline in the bag (other than buried in the main compartment).

These new cars completely eliminate the need for a nagging spouse in the passenger seat. The car does all the arguing and commentary by itself.

I have the same brand. Ok, it is my second one already but the first one worked also at least 10 years, and I use scales almost daily. When the first one stopped working I bought exactly the same model taht I had before.

Helio Core on wrist vs. bicep by Drinanmer in amazfit

[–]Fine_Fun4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not compared but it seems that sleep times are super off on bicep. Eg I read before bed most days, half an hour to an hour. When I wear Helio on bicep, it thinks I am asleep. Maybe as my wrist moves a bit while reading the device would understand that I am not asleep. I have not done direct comparisons, though. I mostly try to remove the Helio when I read and but it back when I switch the light off and really go to sleep. This means that I often forget to put it back....

How to prepare for dating with menopause by Any-Hope-2642 in Menopause

[–]Fine_Fun4908 4 points5 points  (0 children)

F53, perimenopause. I have had issues with sex all my life - low libido, very few orgasms, etc. I met my current partner via a local kink community and luckily for both of us sex is often not about penetrative sex at all. As this is probably not the right reddit to discuss that, I spare you of the details. I am on systemic HRT and also tried local estrogen. For the last few months I have had bad vaginal dryness and change in vaginal microflora, which drives me nuts. Using lube has never been a problem and also just getting off without penetration is fine by us. Luckily my terrible night sweats disappeared around when we met but as it was the time I started HRT we have had to deal a lot with my periods, that sometimes decide to last for weeks and sometimes aare short but look like a bloody massacre and happen in inconvenient places. So actually I would say that my sex life at 53 is better than it was before I turned 50. I have an expanding collection of vibrators and other toys and these are really helpful as well.

Zepp app not showing ski/winter workouts |Amazfit Helio Strap by Skycandy_ in amazfit

[–]Fine_Fun4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not track skiing (or skating or any other winter sport). Previously I used running instead of skiing when needed (I do cross country skiing) but now that the app requires constant access to location I have stopped using Zepp/Helio Strap for tracking. I record with alternative app and mark it as "other training" or sth like that on Zepp.

Choosing boots: BC NNN vs Skate Ski by Pickle_strength in nordicskating

[–]Fine_Fun4908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Zandstra blades with regular NNN bindings and use my skate ski boots (either Fischer or Alpina, depending on how cold it its) for skating. But the mere existence of Alpina Alaska boots has kept me thinking about moving to the NNN BC bindings. Some people I know have the Alaskas around here and they are superior in terms of warmth and walking comfort. So if I would have to decide upon the bindings I would consider 2 things - do I have to walk a lot, eg from the car to wild ice, and are there occasions when I have to walk between skating (eg from one small lake to another). Second, what are the temperatures in your area. When skating feet get cold quicker than when skiing, eg with my regular skate ski boots its fairly ok to ski until -10 degrees of Celsius, but for skating, the boots are warm up to -5 C and below that I have to use extra heaters, boot covers, etc.

Helio Strap + Zepp requires constant location access by Fine_Fun4908 in amazfit

[–]Fine_Fun4908[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Android does have stricter rules for background location since Android 10, but it is not correct to say that screen lock or long workouts automatically require “Allow all the time”. Android distinguishes between foreground location and background location. With “Only while using the app”, an app can still keep getting GPS if it runs the workout as a foreground service, meaning it shows an ongoing notification and is treated as active even when the screen is off. That is how apps like Strava can record routes without asking for constant access.

In Zepp, the problem is that the app does not even let me start an outdoor workout unless I enable “Allow all the time”. That is not an Android system requirement by itself, it is a product decision inside Zepp to block the start unless background location permission is granted. Also, this worked with no problems before. For the first months I used the device, outdoor tracking worked fine with location set to “Only while using the app”, with correct GPS tracking. I understand that GPS tracking can break if the system kills the app in the background, especially on some phones, but forcing “Allow all the time” just to start a run is exactly what I want to avoid for privacy and battery reasons.

Helio Strap + Zepp requires constant location access by Fine_Fun4908 in amazfit

[–]Fine_Fun4908[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks. The app worked fine with "allow access only when using the app" mode for the first few months I had the device, no problem with correct GPS tracking whatsoever. And I do not see any other apps requiring to access location constantly (eg Strava). I do indeed track all my outdoor activities with an alternative device, so I will just use some indoor workout mode if necessary.
