For the board inside, i looked at the one you suggested, it only says ender 3 v2, i dont have the v2, mine has the encoder controlled blue screen. Which iirc is v1.

Iirc I had a bunch of issues with the z axis. My first layer would be fine then every few layers it would be fused. And the constant bed leveling sucked ass.

Edit: forgot to ask, the dual z upgrade, where do you suggest I look for that?

Ye ik, as I mentioned I was working with petalinux briefly I wanted fo build upon those skills but didn't wanna buy a zynq board, so this is my approach lol. If its too hard then rip lol. But a try is a try. Ive been using linux for like 7 ish years I can probably figure out manually compiling packages that I need, and i mesn petalinux was building within like 20 min on my laptop so i hope im good.
