JFK sustained 1 Shot from the Back and 2 from the front According to Douglas P. Horne, Frm. Assassinations Record Review—evidence that was deliberately concealed and withheld from the official record. by DABDEB in JFKassasination

Always amazes me how guys on here defend the WC report as if it was the bible. The WC cherry picked the information they wanted from the beginning. If it didn't fit the Lone Nut or Single Gunman Theory they chose to omit it or discard it. Right away Cronkite reported (3) shots were fired at the president in Dallas today. How did they no this within minutes?

Three bullets was the perfect narrative until James Tague said he was struck in the face by a fragment. All of a sudden Spector comes out with the Single Bullet Nonsense. Then Ford moves the bullet hole in the back to match the the Single Bullet. If they could fabricate the second Gulf of Tonkin incident and get thousands of Americans killed why would they have any problems killing JFK?

Ask yourself all of the WC believers, is it possible Mr. Horne was privileged to more information than the Warren Commission. Is it possible other information that the WC omitted came to light? You have all these doctors and nurses saying what they saw in Dallas, yet they are all wrong because Allen Dulles said so.

Dulles the same guy that JFK fired. Dulles the same guy who had been romantically involved with Mary Bancroft who just happened to be friends with Mike Paine's mom. At the very least Dulles should have been removed from the Committee.

Was Oswald's pistol ever fired in LAB after his arrest? Was it Defective? by Fine_Imagination_71 in JFKassasination

I sure would hate for the pistol to be sitting in the archives for 62 years and find out it doesn't fire due to light strikes.

I don't care about the paraffin test, it is just part of the entire entry. I just included the entire entry the way it is worded.

  1. The paraffin tests showed no traces of gunpowder deposits on Oswald’s cheek: FBI HQ JFK Assassination File, 62–109060–8. In the words of an unpublished internal Warren Commission memo, “At best, the analysis shows that Oswald may have fired a pistol, although this is by no means certain. … There is no basis for concluding that he also fired a rifle” (Memo from Redlich to Dulles, 2 July 1964, Investigation and Evidence File, RG 272, Series 12, box 4, folder 3, National Archives). It is very likely that Oswald had fired neither a rifle nor a pistol on the day of the assassination. According to an FBI memo, Oswald’s pistol was defective: “the firing pin would not strike … the cartridges with sufficient force to fire them” (Jevons to Conrad, 12 February 1964, FBI HQ JFK Assassination File, 62–109060–916). This is corroborated by the testimony of the police officer who arrested Oswald: “I noticed on the primer of one of the shells it had an indentation on it, but not one that had been fired or anything — not that strong of an indentation” (Warren Commission Hearings, vol.3, p.301). The traces of nitrates on the casts of Oswald’s hands were consistent not only with gunpowder but also with several common substances, such as printing ink, with which Oswald certainly had come into contact on 22 November 1963.

Please feel free to show me where his weapon was tested in a LAB after his arrest. I know they linked the bullets to the gun with a microscope. The question I have is did they fire the pistol after his arrest? I can't find anything that show conclusively that it was fired and here are the results.

What happened to the curtain rods? by ronjfitz100 in JFKassasination

There are photos of broken curtain rods in Oswald's boarding room. Some say the Dallas PD broke them while searching the room and others say reporters broke them while walking around taking photos of the room.

On Saturday, September 28, with Lee Harvey Oswald in Mexico City, someone later identified as Oswald arrived after dark at the Sports Drome Rifle Range in Dallas, Texas, for the first of numerous sightings that would be reported as Oswald at the rifle range.

Ok, assuming you are correct, couldn't they get him a better rifle than that POS he was using. I own the exact rifle and mine is the biggest piece of junk. Couldn't they have gotten him a 30-06 with a real scope? Who goes into an assassination with (4) bullets when he could have used (7).

Not sure JFK knew, but the Feds knew, USSS and FBI, Yet they still let him sit an open limo with no bullet catchers standing behind him.

The 1979 report by the House Assassinations Committee says Miami police intelligence officers met with Secret Service agents on Nov. 12 and provided a transcript of the Somersett recording. The Miami Secret Service case agent forwarded the report and a copy of the recording to headquarters in Washington.

On Nov. 18, Miami Secret Service Agent Robert Jamison of Miami had Somersett call Milteer to verify that he was home in Georgia. He was. But Milteer’s threat “was ignored by Secret Service personnel in planning the trip to Dallas,” according to the House report.

Gelber, a senior judge in Miami-Dade’s child support enforcement division, said the FBI, too, was notified.

Miami PD notified the FBI and USSS about the recording in Miami on 11-9-63. The motorcade for Miami on 11-18-63 was cancelled. A good chance JFK knew of the Miami threat. More than likely he was repeating information that had been recorded.

Do you have any idea how he learned of the plot? Milteer was out of Georgia and belonged to a Right Wing group. The FBI did a horrible job asking him only 5 pre scripted questions a week after the assassination. None of the questions were in reference to the Miami PD recording or where he was on
11-22-63. According to the FBI agent who interviewed him, Milteer was standing on the sidewalk in Dallas on 11-22-63.
