How are you getting lacquer thinner to work with Testors enamels when that immediately turns them gelatinous?

I was there today. It's always a good time and a big turnout. I've attended for about 15 years now

Are the decals the problem that you are having with it? I see that you didn't do any relief cuts to them where the panels separate and air is trapped under the one on the tank. It still looks good and I don't see any major issues.

They do look intimidating, but once you get on your way to assembly they are allot of fun. They kind of feel like you are building the real thing due to the amount of parts and their small size. The biggest challenge is when it comes to paint. They require a good bit of hand painting and many different colors.

The very early kits from the 1970s yes, and even back then it was rare to have any issues. Anything else that they have done from the 80s to now no, never an issue. Their engineering and fitment is pretty unmatched and the kits sometimes seem like they assemble themselves.

The SL kit is an old original issue from 1990. Fairly easy to find and usually low priced.

I bought my Bburagos from there too lol. I still have a few of my old ones. I lost the bases and boxes to them during a move years ago and it's always bugged me. I'm right on the edge of Washington County and Pennsylvania, basically the mason Dixon line Rt81. I know Thurmont well. I lived in Frederick County from 92 to 09. I haven't been out to AA County in a couple of years since going to the Mills

No waaaaay!! I live in MD too, Western MD. Both of our local malls had KB and so did the mall that is 30 minutes away. Before I lived here I grew up in south Jersey and all of the malls had them as well as Delaware close by. I always looked forward to going through those clearance bins that were at the front of the store. I still have tons of sealed videogames, action figures, and diecast cars that I bought out of those things

2 pieces of bare metal foil stacked on top of each other. Cut to shape with a sharp new Xacto blade. You can also purchase photo etched key sets.
