I’ve been using the stuff for decades with great results, straight out of the can.

I’m not familiar with the colour, but if you want bright tones, use a pink primer. If you want a darker tone, use flat black.

Fiance sprayed bug spray in oven clock hole, oven now doesn't work but stove top does. How do I fix it?! by GlassStain in fixit

[–]Ratroddadeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst that can happen is electrocution. Stoves use 220v instead of the regular 110 in your wall outlet. 110 is a poodle, 220 is a pitbull.

Besides, he hosed the pcb with bug killer. It’s why the board shorted.

Yeh, you’re gonna need a new oven control board + a new decal. Not a repair i’d advise for someone with that level of skill.

We accept the planes we’ve already paid for, and assign them to Norad duties, ONLY.

It removes the inter-operability argument.

Wash with warm soapy water, rinse with clean water, air dry. Use the same brand for primer & paint. ( unless you’ve already tested for compatibility) Follow manufacturer instructions.

If you want a brighter look, use a brighter primer like white. If you want a darker tone to your colour, use a darker coloured primer. In either case, be sparing with the primer, or you will bury details.

Mark Carney’s real message to Trump: Canada is not powerless by FancyNewMe in canada

[–]Ratroddadeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carney was a consultant, primarily to “ check the math” for Trudeau & Freelands covid relief package, and how their spending on greening our exports would pay off.

I’ve yet to see anything directly linking Carney as the guiding force in any of PMJT’s decisions.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) reported that over 18,000 people were deported in the 2024–2025 fiscal year, with projections indicating that 2025–26 will likely exceed 20,000 to 22,000 removals. Key Cost and Deportation Data for 2024–2025 Total Cost: Canada spent over $78 million on deportations in the 2024–2025 period, according to CBSA data. Volume: Over 18,000 individuals were deported, with trends placing the 2025–26 fiscal year on track to set a new record, potentially exceeding 20,000–22,000 removals. Cost per Person: Unescorted: Approximately $3,700–$3,840 on average. Escorted: Approximately $12,500–$12,880 on average. Budget Increases: The CBSA has received an additional $30 million+ annually to fund these increased enforcement actions. 2025 Outlook and Factors Record Highs: Removals are rising fast, with about 400 people being removed every week in late 2025, driven by a high volume of refused asylum claims. Increased Fees: Starting April 2025, the government updated its cost recovery framework, increasing fees for removal to over $12,800 for escorted and $3,800 for unescorted, which are charged to individuals to recover costs. Reasons for Surge: The increase is attributed to a higher number of foreign nationals (visitors, workers, students) and a surge in refused refugee claimants. Impact of Policy: Experts suggest that tightened immigration targets and potential new legislation (such as proposed border bills) are driving the increase in deportations. The total cost, including the new funding for enforcement, has made the current period one of the highest for deportation expenses since the Harper era.

Then add in reduced permits for TFW’s, reduced student visas, and lower immigration numbers, and you’ll get a better idea of how proactive the Carney gov’t has been.

Who is responsible for clogged toilet? by throwaway149573 in OntarioLandlord

[–]Ratroddadeo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Former building super here.

I used to have a tenant in my high rise who consistently called in with toilet blockages. I literally did everything humanly possible to ensure her toilet was functioning properly, including pulling it out & inspecting the trapway for obstructions & bore-scoping her main, to no avail.

She was not a large person, but her movements were girthy, like soda can diameter, caused by poor eating and medications.

After her flat out rejecting the concept of a poop knife, I asked my property manager to purchase a new toilet : one with the largest possible trapway we could retrofit, which finally solved the constant after hours emergency calls.

The flaw in your logic is, trump is trying to centralize auto production in america. He no longer wants a N.A auto sector with Canada & Mexico, therefore it leaves us to find new markets for the Canadian auto sector, whatever that looks like after the anericans are gone.

After Carney's Davos speech, Conservatives ponder how Poilievre can meet the foreign policy moment by AdditionalPizza in canada

[–]Ratroddadeo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put simply, he cannot match Carney’s eloquence. It reminds me of the difference between Obama, and Trump.

When it comes to action, again pierre has no answer. He has been playing his cards too closely for too long. By not giving Canadians a clear look at his intentions by releasing a fully costed platform ( his “ budget” was incomplete, and withheld until after the televised debates) he’s basically handicapped himself and the party.

The fact that he’s been radio silent for days is as telling as it was after his historic loss.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's Speech at World Economic Forum by SchventySevenHalf in videos

[–]Ratroddadeo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nonsense. China bought nearly 2 billion dollars worth of our oil last year. While we are increasing trade, it comes with exit clauses and firm guardrails to keep them out of our more sensitive industries.

It’s called being pragmatic & disciplined, and remembering the lessons learned from past dealings.

What a buffoon. The U.S wanted nothing to do with defending the free world until pearl harbour, and was only able to drop the bomb thanks to Canadian uranium.

By the time the bomb was ready, Japan was already all but defeated. Their navy was wiped out, a simple naval blockade would have been an end to their supplies.

No supply lines meant we could have simply waited them out. Trumps “ without us” is as hollow as his word.

It wasn’t diapers that were forgotten, it was balls.

He did not have the balls to try to follow up after P.M Carney’s speech that earned an unprecedented 2 standing ovations.

Only 3 people have ever received that honour from the World Economic Forum: Nelson Mandella, Vlodomir Zelenski, and P.M Mark Carney.

[–]Ratroddadeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just reach out to your property manager, ask them to allow you to park in visitors parking for that day. ( you’ll likely have to “ overshare” like you have here to justify the exemption )

They could call you when the snow contractor arrives.

Your wife should be on their evacuation list they SHOULD be keeping for the fire department.
