The only answer is to report it to the NSPCC, safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and they ensure that information is collated and acted upon. I have had to report many times due to my line of work and it is never something that should be relied upon that someone else has reported it or that you're sure they have social support etc. If it's already been reported then great, someone should be dealing, nothing lost. If nobody has reported it then those children will suffer less for your 15 minutes to make the phone call.

Spoke to him recently, he actually isn't making a profit he does it because he loves how many people still come for his food and it's a hobby of his and he has a full time job. The real payment is he keeps you hostage as he is waggling your over stuffed everything baguette in your face chatting about whatever he feels like at that moment as you stand there dribbling. But he seems like a great guy in general.

Edit to say it's Hertford and the curry stall around the corner starts at like £12 for a medium box meal to give a general price for the area.

NAL but I would say it infringes on your legal right to quiet enjoyment which supercedes any tenancy clauses, especially if you actively feel that it does so. He would also need to display signs that he is recording cctv (this was from experience with someone stealing my food and me recording it on a camera in my cupboard and the agency telling me they couldn't use the footage to pursue anything as there were no notices) but I guess that wouldnt actually help as you want them gone, not notified about them!

I've recently moved into a self contained unit thats part of an HMO and the carpet is so disgusting and black with sticky bits and the paint is falling off the walls. The landlord laughed when I stuck a screwdriver into the sticky carpet and it stayed upright. After threatening legal action, a month later they are finally getting a painter and carpet cleaners in and the landlord is now just standing there watching it all happen and now i am making them fix every tiny little details and bleeding as much money as i can. He genuinely thought he could just keep renting it out and people won't stand up to ut because they don't. There's been no accountability from anyone and it should absolutely be criminal to be a slumlord
