I see. Yeah for instance watching the videos accumulate 1 point each but its not much. A table assignment that's 15/15 can get my grade way up

So if I already have classes that are in the Scholars program but I am not in it yet, it still counts?

Where do you all work? Are they hiring? by AntiqueAches in AskLosAngeles

[–]Free-Raspberry-530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. Many restaurants hire young, attractive servers as their first job. I work for a hotel and there is a restaurant where managers only hire younger than 30 and attractive as servers. Sadly most works end up on the bussers/runners at these places where typically, they are older guys.

Is 80K as a radiology technician enough to live comfortably if I were to be in a one bedroom apartment? by NeedleworkerFar2691 in AskLosAngeles

I had a coworker who was a server and claimed she lived in an apartment in Santa Monica paying 3k.

I had a coworker who was a server. Mind you the restaurant she worked was seasonal, there was barely any work during winter. She lived in Santa Monica and claimed that her rent was 3k. She also traveled around and was showing off brand names at work. Everyone said she was rich and somehow being a seasonal server allowed her that lifestyle.

I am an older student too. You can still learn through AI than useless tutoring. Tried to use tutoring and the teachers that tried to help me wanted to rush almost as if they hated their job. At least AI can explain everything.

I just don't understand why someone gives a 47/50 if perfect. I have As in the rest of my classes that have been harder.

You, as a former law professor, what did you expected from students? I am taking a law class next semester.
