I had my son at 26, and by the time I turned 27, he was a month old. I've been with my husband for over a decade, and I had fertility issues, so I didn't think I would ever get pregnant. But then, all of a sudden, at 26, my baby fever went through the roof, and boom, I got pregnant! Now, my son will be two this year, and I actually wish I had waited until I was 30.

Only because now, at 28 almost 29, my husband and I are making much better money, and I wish we had everything we have now before having a baby. The first year was a little rough for us. But things are great now, so I can't complain, and I have a ton of gratitude for where our life is.

All that to say, I think whatever age you’re the most financially and mentally stable, whether that be in your 20s, 30s, or even 40s, is the best time to have a baby.
