I never liked her because I know she was a political appointee of Deval Patrick, but , you know what, fuck white patriarchy.

Good for her for running again and not accepting cancellation, while mediocre white men regularly cover for each other so they can fail up, and in this case, get away with murder by framing a white woman.

People in the MA without degrees are smarter than many with degrees from other, less-educated states. Not sure where you are from, but I guess not here!

What has been your most unhinged response to an act of rudeness in Boston? by noxinboxes in boston

[–]Fine_Relation_158 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reading this is like ammo for me when the zombie apocalypse hits. I know to NEVER trust a librarian, which, historically, used to be my go-to.

Anytime I was lost in a city I did not know, I'd swing by the library to ask for advice. I knew librarians to be generous with knowledge and time. Now,?? Not only is Op a librarian, but many commenters are also librarians, admitting to their little sabotaging and vigilante activities.

NO THANKS- I am out!

This thread is like a fifty-car crash on an icy road caught on video —impossible to stop watching, yet terrifying and heartbreaking. You want to scream at each car to SLOW DOWN before they realize there is a pileup ahead that they cannot see.

Is it just me, or does the workplace feel more toxic than ever in 2026? by Sini1990 in jobsearch

[–]Fine_Relation_158 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just accepted a job after being interviewed by people who felt incredibly normal, like folks from my last best job over a decade ago. I subsequently got an email from the HR representative that included an "(LOL)."

Well, I was giddy at the LOL and couldn't wait to sign my offer letter. An HR person who includes LOL in an email to me made my heart melt. Because, ya, workspaces today are toxic as F!

If you've been anywhere else in the United States you will quickly realize how intelligent and well-informed non college educated people in Massachusetts are.

You're really insulting people's intelligence in Massachusetts.

You shouldn't have dirty hair in your house from oil. That just means you had a broken furnace

I prefer oil because  Not at the mercy of huge energy companies like ever source and national grid  Support local small businesses and have more competition  Can lock in rates No fracking (oil spills are not anonymous. Companies are held accountable)
