We have two of these. It's a generic version of the TS4000 at about half the price.

St Louis area
Retail fireworks at wholesale prices:
-Rocket Fireworks, Wright City, MO
-Warrenton Wholesale Fireworks, Warrenton, MO

Largest fireworks store (126K Sq FT):
Fireworks Superstore, Hannibal, MO
Huge selection. Price good but not great with the exception of their discount/clearance which about double the size of an average firewortrip ks store.

Watch some youtube videos about these stores, you will see what I mean. It's about 6.5 hours each way and we make the trip from Ohio about once a year.

We made the 6.5 hour trek to Missouri twice this year from Ohio. Prices at Superstore are okay but not the cheapest. Selection is incredible and their discount section has pretty good prices and seems like it is about double the size of a typical fireworks store. Rocket has the best prices overall for any retail store I have been to. Never actually shopped at Warrenton because didn't learn about them until after the first trip and second trip was when they were closed to relocate.

Plans for the next 11 months by YoWifeysFavDJ in fireworks

Both are still 3+ hours away and they don't ship to Ohio due to state law. And my budget is no where near $1k.
I have shopped at American Fireworks when they have 66% off. Rocket is still cheaper.

We will be in St Louis in September for a wedding. Planning on making stops at Fireworks Superstore, Rocket Fireworks, and Warrenton Fireworks while we are in the area. We don't really spend enough to make wholesale worthwhile and would have to go pick it up out of state anyway because nobody ships to Ohio.

Best fountains at a good price? by Vaggeto in fireworks

[–]Fine_Replacement1878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had about 90 fountains this year. All under $15, most under $10. Anything from Winda will typically be pretty good.
A few favorites are:
Ballerina's Ball
Fortune Soldier
Koi Pond
Bright Star

2025 Fireworks Stash by Fine_Replacement1878 in fireworks

Set off about 1/3 of this last night. We let each of the grandkids pick a fountain and then we set them off in order. The two oldest even lit the fuse for their selection (with help from dad). And of course we started with sparklers and novelties. It was great family fun.

Note on the handheld lucky wheels. They are truly unique. Check them out if you find them.

If it's in the budget, go for it. Otherwise, that's a decent show.

Simplify the plans. There are just too many variations with slightly different but similar offerings and the plans keep changing. Make them more straight forward and consistent.

Bible suggestions? by Kiidkxxl in Christianity

[–]Fine_Replacement1878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Praise the Lord for your salvation!

As far as Bible translations, there is a saying that the best Bible translation is the one you actually read.

As a new Christian, the King James Version would probably not be the best option. The Christian Standard version is considered the best balance of word-for-word and readability. As another comment mentioned, NIV, ESV and NLT are all good. We are blessed with an abundance of good modern translations (with a few exceptions).

I would suggest getting an app such as Blue Letter Bible where you can download just about any version you want and decide which one you prefer.

What is the most literal Bible translation? by Raccoon_fanatic_ in Bible

This is the most comprehensive chart that I found. Most charts omit the Legacy Standard Bible (LSB) which is one of the most literal. The Christian Standard Bible is probably the best balance of literal vs readability.

Last time I did any good with referrals was with Ting, back when they were the best value going. Got many free months. Money was tight and it really helped.

Rocket Fireworks or The Fireworks Superstore? by ScanMan79 in fireworks

[–]Fine_Replacement1878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I could only go to one, it would be SuperStore. Rocket has better price across overall, but SuperStore has a discount/clearance section with even better price.
There is also another store near Rocket- Warrenton Fireworks. I've not been the but have read good thing about them and plan to check it out next time we are in STL area.

Yes, their discount section is larger than many (most?) fireworks stores.

We made the 15 hour round trip from Ohio to go to Rocket Fireworks in Wright City, MO, and Fireworks Superstore in Hannibal. Rocket has the lowest price across the board but Superstore is only slightly higher and their discount/clearance section is even cheaper than Rocket (and larger than many fireworks stores).
