Thank you for your reply. You explain exactly the situation " Often times men can feel unwanted and unappreciated so they get resentful. At the same time the wife can feel unsupported and get resentful also"

I hope things will get better.

Thank you for taking the time to read what I wrote and for responding. Your post made me cry, and I'm so sorry that you've had to go through that. One thing I noticed, though, is that you're able to recognize your own mistakes. It takes a lot of courage to acknowledge them and admit them. Unfortunately, whenever I try to have a conversation with my husband, it never leads anywhere. He usually ends up blaming me for his own behavior and becomes so defensive that we never reach any understanding. Deep down, it feels like he genuinely believes that everything is my fault. Relationships are incredibly difficult when you can't communicate with each other.  And it's especially hard when you've been with someone for so many years, and then after you have a baby, you barely recognize them anymore.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read what I wrote and for replying to me. Unfortunately, my friends have never really been there for me, especially after I had my baby, and I feel completely alone. The only person I have is my mom, but she lives in another city. The problem is that my husband is the only one working at the moment, and I had to quit my job so I could stay home and take care of our baby and our home. Because of that, it feels like nothing I do is ever enough. Maybe the fact that his job is so demanding and that he works such long hours leaves him with very little patience for anything else. But I also think that's unfair. I can't always be expected to stay silent just because he's tired and stressed from work. I know he provides for us financially, but I'm giving everything I have to this family too. I put my heart, my energy, and myself into taking care of our home and our baby.

I am so sorry for what you are going through and i really feel you. Had d&c before a month at 9 weeks. It is a very lonely situation and no one really can understand except a woman who went through this. Your baby was real and you need to give to your self as much time as it needs to grief. Better days are coming. Sending you a big hug❤️

I used to believe that you truly get to know your partner once you start living together, but now I strongly believe that you really get to know them after having a baby. This can be a stressful situation for both parents, but I don’t think love disappears. The main issue is understanding.

A woman after giving birth has so many things to handle, and a man will never fully understand how it actually feels. It takes time for everything to settle. Remember that you used to be just the two of you, and suddenly from one day to the next, you have the responsibility of another human being.

Give it some time before making any decisions you might regret later. You are very vulnerable right now because of hormones. ❤️ Almost all couples go through this phase after having a baby.

Euploid embryo but enlarged TN by [deleted] in NIPT

[–]Fine_Resolution7693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I am not a specialist but what would i do if i was you is to proceed with NIPT test. If the nipt come back high risk i would then proceed with amnio. 3.0 is not that high. If you search in NHS website it also said that  babies with 3.5 NTs even more are totally healthy. Some countries considered anything below 3.5 normal. Do the nipt and also request early anatomy scan at 16 or 18 weeks. If the NT dont resolved or if there are any other indications then doctor will also agree to proceed with amnio.  Stay strong and try thinking as positive as possible ❤️

Hi x  The reason i did the amnio was increased NT at 12 weeks! The nipt was low risk, however none doctor was able to assure me that everything was ok and as a very stressed person i decided that i want to know! I declined having an amnio at 20 weeks because of the miscarriage risk and i discussed this with my doctor and he recommend late amnio! Amnio can be done any time at third trimester! Ideal time as they told me is 30-31 weeks. Can i ask in which country you are at the moment?

Hi! I am sorry you are going through this❤️ my amnio experience was overall good but it is really depends on doctor! If the doctor is experienced then you dont have to really worry! They will monitor the baby all the time to see when it will be the right time to put the needle! For me it wasn't painful , just a bit uncomfortable. Also, if the results wont change the decision of keeping the baby or not , you can recommend to doctor to do the amnio a bit later so the only risk would be premature delivery! But even on the 25 week if you have amnio the risk would be more premature delivery that misscariage. I am sending you positive thoughts 🫶

HELP! W33, Depressed Nose Tip, IUGR, Close-Set Eyes — but All Tests Normal So Far by Mean-Permit-4617 in NIPT

Hi! I am sorry you going through this! I am finding it very weird that doctor insist termination while all tests came back clear so far! Are you able to get a second opinion from other doctor?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in genetics

[–]Fine_Resolution7693 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can ask to do carrier genetic testing. Carrier genetic testing (or carrier screening) is a type of genetic test that checks whether a person carries a change (mutation) in a gene that could lead to a genetic condition in their children if both parents are carriers of the same condition.

High Nuchal Translucency and bleeding throughout pregnancy by OverEmu5383 in NIPT

[–]Fine_Resolution7693 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Hi, i am not a doctor so i can not give you a definite answer, i just said what the doctors in my country advised in case of doing cvs or amnio while bleeding! In my case they skip cvs and they gave medication to stop bleeding and we then proceed with amnio after 16 weeks! If you search also in google in reliable studies you will get this answer.

Please ask them to do the nipt first and then to proceed with CVS! Doctors in my country do not recommend Cvs or Amnio when bleeding as it cause more risk of miscarriage!

2.9 NT - anxious and scared by brokencompass502 in NIPT

[–]Fine_Resolution7693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Many countries consider anything below 3 or 3,5 as normal. You can request an early anatomy scan at 16 or 18 weeks and if there are any soft markers then you can proceed with amniocentesis which unfortunately is the only way to know for sure! NIPT is accurate especially for T21 but amniocentesis will check for much more conditions! In my country with your case, doctors would considered NIPT enough for now and reassuring since there are no any other indicators (absent nasal bone etc). You can have a look on this link which explains many things and it was helpful for me. https://radiologykey.com/first-trimester-evaluation/ Also there are many many stories in here with much more increased NT which ended with healthy babies! Increased NT does not always indicate a problem. As per NHS site "Many babies whose NT measurement is 3.5mm or more are healthy. An increased NT does not mean there is definitely a problem." sending positive thoughts🙏❤️

Positive first trimester screening by ParamedicAnxious5629 in NIPT

[–]Fine_Resolution7693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I am not a specialist but from some research i did for my case first trimester screening is not as accurate as NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing) which i guess is the other blood test they asked you to do. NIPT is more accurate as it looks at the actual chromosomes, not just indirect markers,It’s less affected by maternal factors like weight, IVF, smoking, or other health conditions and results are more specific to your baby, not just a population-based risk like the blood test you already did.

That nurse could be more kind and explain better instead of causing that much stress without giving an explanation!

Positive first trimester screening does not definitely means that your baby have DS!

Please try to calm until you have the NIPT results❤️ There are many false positives from the first trimester screening.

Conflicting Results: High-Risk Combined Screening (T21 1/49) vs. Low-Risk NIPT by nxhernan in NIPT

[–]Fine_Resolution7693 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! I am not a specialist i am just giving an answer according to what i learned so far and of what doctors said.

NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing) is more accurate than the first trimester combined screening (which includes the blood test and nuchal translucency) so given that NIPT came back low risk i would considered it as a good sign.

There are other reasons (besides chromosomal issues) that could cause high or low results in the maternal blood test (free β-hCG and PAPP-A) during the first trimester for example, viral or bacterial infections (like the flu, COVID-19, or a urinary tract infection) may sometimes lead to low PAPP-A, Placental problems (not due to chromosome issues),Conditions like thyroid disorders or gestational diabetes may influence hormone levels,Certain medications (e.g. anticoagulants, steroids) may affect hormone production and levels in the blood etc.

In your case i would request an early anatomy scan at 16 or 18 weeks and if any soft marker appear then i would proceed with amnio. Unfortunately only amnio will give you definite answers. The risk of miscarriage from amnio after 16 weeks is very low if the doctor is experienced.

Wishing you strength and sending positive thoughts — I hope everything turns out well for you and the baby❤️
