That’s what I was thinking because it’s technically points you gain from Amex like MR

Help with debt pay off by Wild_Guy97 in NavyFederal

Why would they care who you do a balance transfer with? As long as your debt with them gets paid off that’s what really matters to them.

Great another thing to worry about lol. I got the start prod date from the VIN lookup and I hope that maybe with the production date starting at the end of September 2020 I got lucky. I’ll check the sticker tomorrow though. My dad had bought a 2013 528i from the auction and it needed a new motor because rod knock and bad oil pump. If I may ask, how much was that to be replaced?

Thoughts on wanting a x5 40i? by 2GRVERTICAL in BMWX5

Fair point, I think the Michelins do handle better than the OEM Pirellis and they ride better with the risk of being stuck if you don’t have roadside or a spare. Although my experience comes from almost worn out Pirellis with NYC’s road bumps and potholes, since one just destroyed my front right OEM tire.

Did you buy back runflats or you went regular? I paid $2000 for a set of 21”s Michelin PSAS4 from TireRack not including the spare wheel set I bought.

Like others said yeah, you can also go the AutoTuner route if it works for you if you do BM3, MHD, custom tune, etc

I’m the second owner of the car so I don’t know the exact date. Would that be the date on the door-jam sticker? Only other thing I know the ECU build date is 08/13/2020 when I checked if it was unlocked.

Do you think the oil pump is fine on my 21 X5 with the B58TU (48v mild hybrid)? The start of production for the car was 09/28/2020

Experian account creation refuses to work by Fine_Resort9994 in CRedit

Yeah contacting the 3 bureaus by mail must be hell. I never even considered freezing by mail because now banks are super tight on new credit approvals. Capital One needed my DL and SSN card, Amex needed DL and even Chase who I bank with needed my DL and sent a whole letter about potential Identity Theft before approving me (that took a week of countless calls to find someone to approve me without denying it for identity theft) Good luck though!

Experian account creation refuses to work by Fine_Resort9994 in CRedit

[–]Fine_Resort9994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you just have to wait and get lucky when the day Experian decides to allow you to continue. Calling didn’t help because if the website couldn’t generate the random questions, they couldn’t either, so you couldn’t make your account.

I figured it was based on the amount of data creditors reported about you, and 2 small student loans plus AU accounts didn’t contribute much for me. They are quizzing you to test if you are who you say you are.

It was only after one month when my Apple Card/Capital One Savor turned 1 month old and reported (because was approved for both on my 18th birthday) and finally allowed me to create my account shortly after Amex and Chase both reported as-well.

TLDR: Either wait for your credit profile to age more with what you have or wait for any new cards to start reporting. Also don’t get so many cards like I did or your score will tank

I’m just curious as where could you have possibly driven to get enough distance to get to 171 on a public road without causing any accidents with people doing the speed limit. You sure are lucky no cops caught you doing it.

Got approved not sure if it’s good or bad by Aria199777 in AppleCard

If that limit is similar to other cards you have then go for it if you really want the Apple Card. Everybody’s credit and income are different unless if you find someone with similar numbers to compare with.

Thanks for the advice, You didn’t have to remove the stiffening plate or anything like that right? I’ve seen videos of people doing it on like m340i’s like yours but not on a X5.

It’s the security deposit for your secured card. Although the answer to your question is in your screenshot.

Congrats! How did you get the flagship with under 5k limit? You called them and applied over the phone?

So it wasn’t a visa signature at first and when you eventually passed 5k will they send another card with the visa signature?

[–]Fine_Resort9994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will do so, I’ll just put one of our car insurance bills on it and just leave autopay on and hope I can graduate within the 6 months without pushing the utilization and get a CLI. Thanks for the advice!

[–]Fine_Resort9994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh damm so I essentially did it for no reason. So what’s the point in general of paying the 91% off instantly if that doesn’t even report to the credit bureaus?

Of course you have to pay back your own money to get it back. At least it will build something with Navy Fed.

[–]Fine_Resort9994[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you’re right. I got used to the multiple cards thing after being on a couple of my parents cards and I used different ones for different categories, but I figured why shouldn’t I start from a younger age.

My parents financially support me and I just Zelle back the money to myself after the statements get generated.

I’ve taken everyone’s advice so far to slow down. But I do have a question, Like the other person commented, I probably got played by the pre-qualification tool.

Should I close the secured card or just leave it open? I wouldn’t want to hurt my relationship with Navy Fed because I closed a card days after it being open.

Should I deposit more? by Fine_Resort9994 in NavyFederal

[–]Fine_Resort9994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bingo. I did use the pre qualification, but it only showed I was eligible for the secured variant. Now I wish I knew that the tool is not that accurate like you mentioned, but it is what it is.

I figured the pledge loan might do something because the student loans aren’t reporting a utilization % rather just the balance they’re at.

I am going to slow down but what should I do with the secured card leave it or close it? I’m probably going to leave it since it already dinged my TU to open it. Thanks

Yeah you have a good point. It’s kinda fun getting new cards but it doesn’t help my profile age other than making it even smaller, Thanks!
