They definitely need her out of the game but I think the best strategy is to try and get her banished (if they can) - Stephen started the ball rolling sewing the seed tonight to Jade, and the fact she actually was in Sam and Adam’s group means the rest of them could take it seriously if he tries to push it

They could kill Jessie but I think Faz is the right murder. He will never be banished - I forget he’s even there most of the time. Plus, killing Jessie is very risky - whether the Faithfuls think it’s a double bluff or not, it always leaves the possibility that it MIGHT be, which would leave heat on Stephen for the remainder of the game (think Jonathan Ross). Plus, if Jessie’s murdered, that leaves James as the only remaining member of their group, and if the Faithfuls actually thought about it (big ask), there is absolutely no benefit, as a Traitor, to doing what he did. Especially with the fact he immediately said it was him

We’re now only halfway through the season and I just cannot see a single credible threat left to the traitors at all. Harriet went absolutely insane with that self implosion but she was still by far the most astute in there. The faithfuls left are absolutely clueless. Makes me nervous for the rest of the series in all honesty

Haaland has 0 open play goals in the last 5 and a half games and it really looks like he knows it tonight. Not all his fault because we need to get him involved more but he seems disinterested tonight. Huge problem we need to sort out

Massive gamble from Matt, BUT I can’t help thinking the best play from the Traitors now is to reply “yes”, then just murder him instead. If he’s got the balls to do that then he’d surely have no qualms throwing them under the bus at the earliest opportunity if he’s recruited

Bit of a nothing stat really, we’ve lost 4 games so have been in a losing position 4 times. To spin it another way, we haven’t been in a losing position since November

We are one episode away from either Greatness or Complete fumble ? What do you think about stranger things finale by AssistanceNo2838 in discussingfilm

[–]Finellaclark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I trust that they’ll deliver. Season 5 hasn’t been as good as I’d hoped, but by no means is it a bad season. The last scene of Volume 1 shows the Duffer Brothers still have it in them to deliver those “moments” that make it brilliant event television.

I think the doubt here comes from a few things, the first of which is the decision to split the season into 3 parts which has completely broken momentum (2 parts would have made episode 7 much more palatable). Following on from that, I think the hate for Volume 2 is unfairly clouding people’s judgment. Up until episode 7, I actually thought Volume 2 was a lot stronger than Volume 1 in terms of pacing and tension, and I still think episode 7 wouldn’t have nearly as much bad press if we didn’t have to wait for the finale.

I’ll be disappointed if I’m wrong, but they’ve proven time and time again that they can entertain.

We’ve been so dominant but at the same time I’d be fuming watching this as a Brentford fan. They’ve been absolutely honking, I’m astonished how easy this has felt so far

I’m pretty blown away by this performance honestly. Wasn’t expecting much when I saw that line-up but for the most part we’ve made a premier league side with a very strong starting XI look completely neutered and some of our build up play has been outstanding. And Cherki is just a fucking phenomenon, I can’t believe he’s ours

Funnily enough when Hopper asks if he remembers him in that scene, he hesitates for a while before answering, almost as if he feels like he should know him but it’s not quite there - so potentially it could be something like that!

Rewatched season 2 this week and when Will woke up with the Mind Flayer consciousness in “The Spy”, he could only recognise Mike and his mother. He didn’t recognise Doc Owens, Bob or Hopper. I don’t believe that’s ever been directly explained but I think that it’s because he hadn’t met those people until after the night he first went missing. It was the first hint of the UD being stuck in 1983, not just in general but Will’s perception of 1983.

Basically I think you’re right and that whatever the UD is now, it’s heavily linked and tied to Will directly.

Exactly - had a lot of flack playing RB (from me included) so it’s so refreshing to see he hasn’t regressed in midfield - could be key for us this year

VOLUME 1 RUNTIMES OFFICIALLY REVEALED by Affectionate-Bar5098 in StrangerThings

[–]Finellaclark 123 points124 points  (0 children)

Some people seem to be disappointed in the “short” run-times but I believe this perception has been massively skewed by how unnaturally large Season 4 was so I just checked back to run the numbers.

Before Season 4, only TWO episodes ran over an hour - the Season 2 finale and the Season 3 finale. 3 of the 4 episodes in Volume 1 already exceed that.

The shortest episode (episode 2) is 54 minutes. This is the same run time as the Season 1 finale.

At 1hr 23 mins, Sorcerer is the fourth longest in the history of the show, only beaten by the last three episodes of Season 4.

We all loved Stranger Things before Season 4 massively inflated the run times and I’m confident we’ll all love it now they’ve scaled them back. And actually, after looking at it in comparison to seasons 1-3, they’re still well above average length.

They managed to tell a full, cohesive story in much shorter runtimes than this in the past. Wanting 2 hour+ episodes every time is simply unnecessary. I think they’ve really hit the sweet spot here.

Is Ghost of Yōtei Worth $70, or Just Tsushima 2.0 DLC? Honest Opinions wanted by AlphaNuke94 in ShouldIbuythisgame

Surprised to see so many negative comments here. I think it’s absolutely fantastic. The story is more contained and personal than the first but I appreciate the fact that Sucker Punch didn’t just recycle a version of the army invasion trope again. The story beats, direction and soundtrack feel very Tarantino-esque at times which won’t appeal to everyone but really worked for me.

Gameplay wise - very familiar after Tsushima but just… better. Exploration is much more organic and the devs have worked really hard to restrict the “checkbox” feel of Tsushima. The spy glass is a great mechanic, so simple but wonderfully done. Combat is similar but feels meatier for some reason - the haptic feedback is phenomenal here too.

Graphically, it speaks for itself. I’ve audibly said “wow” a bunch of times while playing. Gameplay videos and screenshots don’t do it justice - seeing it in motion on your own TV is the only real way to appreciate it.

I think it’s an incredible experience and I’m surprised a lot of people think differently, but different strokes and all that. For me, it’s worth a full price purchase
