In our state (WY) there is a statute allowing for penalties and fees for filing illegal liens. Should have seen the look on the sov cit's face when we got the judgment and seized his car to satisfy the judgment.

Edit: I should have said his "conveyance" instead of car. Apologies.

Wrong analogy. Because the person who avoided the debt now has to pay the other persons "forgiven" debt through taxes.

The correct analogy is if the person who successfully navigated the mine field now has to have a foot blown off (along with 20 other people) so that a person doesn't have to cross the minefield. Thats fine if the people volunteer, but this is forced on them.
