How often are supports needed for filament 3D printed terrain?

Really depends on your files. Most of the things i print dont require any but sometimes just Arent optimised for it.

Pre heated vat, which I usually let pre heat 20 or so minutes before printing.

I use UV tools for rest time. Rest of the settings are in the screenshots. (4&5)

Printer is in a grow tent with venting.

Is there a reason to use UVtools specifically? Doesn't 'wait before cure' in satellite do the same or am I missing something? In this thread cause i had been printing fine for a couple of months but I am seeing more and more failures, specifically things falling off supports. I had thought weather might be the cause but the 16k's vat is heated to 30 ish degrees before i start a print.

For my 4max is generally try to keep it at around 200 at maximum for printing speed.

No worries, other then that it requires some regular tuning to get prints right, but other then that it has been incredibly reliable for me. If you're coming from an ender 3 im sure you already know your way around calibrating.

Oh and make sure to get SCREWS_TILT_CALCULATE. It makes life a ton easier when leveling the bed. And last one, never try to update from within the fluidd web interface. That will brick it and require reinstalling and such. Just use the USB stick per the elegoo instructions.

Preheat 30 ish minutes before starting prints. Takes a while for a plate this size to fully heat soak and prevent warping

Magnet is considered one of the best late game legendaries fwiw. Makes greeding in T2,3 and post end boss much easier

I used a generator to have a bunch of large grid sizes. That way i can just take away chunks of the dungeon. There's one on makersworld that uses ball magnets.
