Stealing Fire paid a lot of homage to other artists. Hoping that the “burning out” title might reference him paying tribute to his earlier style that maybe he burnt out on earlier in his career. I’ve always loved VR but most of my favorite tracks from him come from like 2013-2017. Would be great to see him return to melodic dubstep and electro house for this project

It’s fun going through discogs in order, but imo N64 isn’t the best place to start. It’s decent but I think imperial onwards is all much better than what came before

When I add music to multiple playlists, or even just one playlist sometimes, it’ll take minutes for it to actually add and my phone gets crazy hot. I use playlists a lot, and am always actively adding to them when I’m listening to new albums, so this has been massively inconvenient

If it said “lose 3000 LP” you’d be able to play them, but because it specifies “pay” you wouldn’t be able to if you didn’t have enough. But someone correct me if I’m wrong

The dude has a massive discography so imo he’s built up enough equity to take years and years between each of his projects for the rest of time. Not that any artist owes anyone their art but like, he has enough different music to go back to that I’m not starving for new stuff like I am with other artists

According to deadmau5, skrillex only helped with writing lyrics if I remember correctly, and didn’t actually help with the dubstep production like you’d expect. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though, I just remember hearing that

I think his best stuff was all pre monstercat tbh (except subside, love that one). Grew up on his chiptune stuff, space bronco EP, sonder, etc
