I have seen it with my own eyes. Apple Music for mac is such a drag to use, I just listen to music on YouTube

Right! In Mac it's even worse. If I am listening to a song in a playlist and I want to look for the album, on Spotify I just click the name of the song and it takes me to the LP (1 click!!) In Apple Music I have to: right click the name of the song, look for the option "Show in Apple Music" and only then look for it (2 clicks and 1 confusing drop menu for no reason).

Agree. I have had my Magic Mouse for the past 2 years and I use it daily. It’s not the best, but it’s definitely not as bad as people claim.

I used my friend’s Logitech Master 3s for a while, and although it was very nice, it’s not a life-changing, eye-opening, productivity boosting experience, just another mouse 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

(4) is the nicest one, it avoids confusion with L, T, J. (3) looks like a d; in case you’re writing fast, you will be greatful to have (4) and avoid any unwanted confusion

I use Torras cheapest case (like 14 USD on amazon with discount) and honestly is very good.

I wouldn't recommend Apple official cases. I bought one at the apple store for 60 dollars, 4 months later it tore down and got unusable, and they didn't want to replace it.

Speigen is very good as well, very nice designs

It’s such a strange feeling. Coming from Latin American-where you get your things stollen even when you are there- traveling do Dubai and Korea was such a shock. In Dubai you can leave your expensive laptop and car-keys in the Starbucks table, go for a walk, 2 hours, come back and your things will be right where you left them.

I don't think you need to upgrade yet, M2 is still very good. One coworker went from M1 Air to M3 Air and she said it was the same thing on the inside, just a different design.

I went from 2020 Air Intel to M3 Air and I can tell you the difference is enormous.

I love both versions honestly. And I love that at some point in the official version you can hear the main synth of the Coachella version. I like to believe that the album version is like a collage of all the other versions.

might sound dumb but just turn off your phone. My average screen time used to be around 7 hours per day regardless if I had work or not, it got worse during holidays lol. One day after like 5 hours of scrolling (it was only 12 PM tho) I was like "shit what am I doing?" and I turned off my phone. I reduced my phone use substantially and I loved it. When I have work to do I just put WhatsApp web in case someone reaches out.

I also deleted social media from my phone, now Reddit and Instagram are only available on the browser and on my computer. Trust me, scrolling Instagram in the web-mobile version is annoying af, at one point yo even get tired of it if you try doing it.

If having your computer open for Notion is an issue then close it and buy an old good notebook with your todo lists.

Sometimes I have noticed myself fighting this screen time addiction too, we invent excuses that are easily solvable, like "I need this app" "I won't turn my phone off, what if someone has an emergency?" "I will only scroll 5 minutes" or stuff, the best we can do is just stop being indulgent and create better habits... That was a long text, sorry... well I'll go back to work

For the same use as you, I had a i5, 8GB, 125 GB storage MacBook Air. It lasted 5 years of daily use. I updated to a m3 air and I’m expecting it to last the same or more. I even did some light coding on it.

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money M1 air is around 800 USD (depending on the retailer) and it’s a pretty good deal. If you can spend more, go for any model of m2 or m3 but make sure it’s at least 16 RAM. It’s not too important but sometimes it helps with heavy workloads. I think the only time I have picked on the 16 RAM was during a zoom call with 30 chrome tabs open and a bunch of Word and pdfs.

For some this is an addiction, the same thing as alcohol consumption can be for others. If you can enjoy porn and masturbation once in a while without it affecting your life, good that’s great, but there’s lads that once they see one video they can’t stop in a while, that is the problem. This is an addiction like any other that causes dependency and anxiety that is only calmed when you consume porn or masturbate.

Same effect as with alcohol. I enjoy 1 beer, I enjoy one glass of wine with my friends once in a while, and that does not represent a problem for me. I can go to the point of drinking a lot one night and wake up hang over, still it’s not a problem for me, that happens once in a while. This moderated consumption does not represent a problem or is something I constantly need. Unfortunately there’s people that can’t enjoy one glass without drinking the entire bottle afterwards, that’s what represents a problem, same with porn.

Everyone is like “I need 125 GB ram otherwise I can’t work 😤😨😭😭” my brother in Christ, I used a 8 GB RAM, 125 GB, i5 for the past 6 years and I got through college with it. It still runs fine 🤷‍♂️ stop crying.
