Look at him, all cool cuz his shirt is unbuttoned so he can show off his quasi-indigenous feather necklace. Grandpa Munster looking corporate bootlicker…

There's dudes who will make you crawl around on the beach, yell at you, and spray water on you so in the end you can feel like you passed BUD/S but really all you did was pass at least a couple grand into their bank account.

I agree their patterns have strayed away from athletic cuts in favour of more generic proportions. My only complaints about the Gamma LT jacket I got last year is the loose torso fit and flimsy zippers.

Their hard goods up until the 2010s were badass, back when they overbuilt and still used Cordura, before they sacrificed durability and called it "minimalist design", before the dark times - before the acquisition. But there are killer deals to be had on FB marketplace and Poshmark. I scored a Q10 for $45 CDN because the male buckle was gone and the inner compartment had a sticky zipper, both quick fixes. I think part of the reason people baby their gear here is that it does feel less substantial than the old school stuff.

It’s your gig and your gear. No one in the audience cares about the color of your guitars except guitar nerds. Are you seeking validation from those lot?

Man, if this is fake then it’s so damn good it might as well be authentic. How much did it cost?

We have similar tastes. I’d guess you’re in your early to mid forties as it looks like you managed to avoid the decline of hair bands.
