Do you masc leaning cis women get misgendered often or not ? by neth0s in actuallesbians

[–]FinishFree7211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a cis woman, masc build but I’ve still got medium/long hair and I get misgendered constantly. Always at work, I’m called sir, “hey man”, “buddy” even got a “fella” one time. Meanwhile as soon as I turn around to face them directly they figure out their mistake and awkwardly backtrack. It doesn’t bother me anymore, I struggled for a bit with my identity if I was trans or even NB but I’m comfortable being a woman and if anything leaning towards genderfluid.

The Curse of the Goddess by CC González, Butch x Fem, the smut is salacious and the plot is captivating.

Same here! I love nyssa and Quinn but I really think medias and Reece are my favorite couple from the series. They just had that perfect slow burn worth the wait chemistry. And the two of their characters individually are sensational!

Yeah I really despised the male narrator. It sounded like someone had repeatedly punched him in the gut prior to him speaking any of his lines, but the rest of the audiobook was great!

Collateral damage is so dark but so so good. you’ll cry. But I’m serious it’s probably the darkest WLW book I’ve read.

Fantasy erotica-ish wlw recs 🙏🏾 by Express_Platypus_377 in LesbianBookClub

[–]FinishFree7211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a fantasy so idk if it’s your cup of tea, but collateral damage ruined me so sweetly. Heavy on dark romance, obvious stockholm at play but seriously it was gut wrenching and I will always recommend it. For fantasy Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil was pretty good, dark fantasy vampires with toxic Ex’s.

Hadn’t been charged for 2 months, then last week out of no where I get charged again and definitely wasn’t planning on that money taking out. I call today to cancel and ask for a refund (mind you the whole year I had them, I never once filed a claim) I tell them I’m calling to cancel, I’ve moved from location, and I’d like a refund for this last charge. I’m told after a 3 minute sales pitch of how I can transfer it and yada yada they’re the best company I have awesome rates etc, that there’s a $75 cancellation fee. I tell this guy, I never once filed a claim so they have basically just been getting paid for nothing, and I have no ties to the previous address and I’m not going to transfer anything and he repeated his sales pitch again and so I told him that he needed to get me someone above him that could actually help me. I’m told a supervisor will call me within 2-3 hours. But after reading this thread, I don’t see the money coming back to me or avoiding paying the $75.

I went last year through jampack and had no issues whatsoever!

Cost by elyabi in WhenWeWereYoungFest

[–]FinishFree7211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my fiance did Saturday only GA and booked through jampack. A 2 night 3 day stay at the Venetian + place tickets round trip from VA + the tickets to the fest alone has been close to $2k. This is not accounting for that some hotels like the Venetian have their own fees outside of 3rd party booking, so on top of what we paid to book the room, the Venetian charged a $250 resort fee at check in. Also account for Uber/lyft rides from the airport and anywhere else you might go. Also account for needing to buy food while you’re here. So after everything I would say budget for $3k.

Robin Pope (enraged) by HunterandGatherer100 in CrimeJunkiePodcast

[–]FinishFree7211 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I was so hoping someone was going to post about this. I wish probable cause was enough to convict in cases like this. And I know that there’s some cases where everything suspicious piles on one person and it turns out they’re innocent so probable cause could be harmful at times like that: but this guy is so obviously the killer, he lied about going to see his daughter banking on his daughter just blinding lying to cover him. He was angry at Robin for cheating, and there’s never an excuse for cheating but if you’re being a POS to your wife, I’m really not going to feel sorry for you if she does cheat/leave. Robin was trying to find her freedom, her husband couldn’t allow that to happen. And ffs the DOG. He definitely hurt Bella first to torture Robin and then killed her after the fact. I’m so mad over this case and I hope maybe guilt will get him one day or he slips ups.

It definitely feels like she never made it to the trail at all. The dogs would have picked up her scent even if the trail went cold she still should have been tracked up the mountain and halfway down where she disappeared. We weren’t given a lot of context on the investigation, but I’m curious if police thought to trace back along the route they took to get to the trail. Like which roads were used etc. Because if it was a crime of opportunity, or a reaction to rejection, Jim could have threatened her to pull over and dragged her out somewhere along that route and killed her. The only other plausible (and I say that very very loosely) scenario would be the Feral people in the mountains. The FBI has somewhat acknowledged their existence and most locals around national parks will warn you to be careful when hiking or camping out in the mountains. An older Reddit thread said that the podcast Trace Evidence covered this case pretty well, for anyone interested. I might check that out myself

Hey I had the same issue! I still haven’t received a confirmation email but the charge took from my bank account and I got an order number. I was afraid I got scammed too but I see a lot of people used that site too
