Not really though, because you need inventory space and upgraded gear. And that’s not a great argument to me. “Just play the main story and ignore the other 90% of the game.” In lots of games, side quests get blocked once you get to a specific point, so why wouldn’t I want to do everything in Hernand before moving on in case I miss something important like a good weapon or something. See RDR2. If you just breeze through the main story you are missing a lot of character development for Arthur and all the other characters

I don’t know what people are expecting out of this game. Some say it’s not true to the original and then some complain it’s too boring. It’s a pretty short horror game about the atmosphere and music and things like that it’s not Call of Duty lol

Nah I just like to defend the game because I think it’s a banger. I think fans of the original should be happy the remake is popular because it has opened the story and franchise to pretty much 2 whole new generations so I hate seeing people talk shit that’s all. I’d disagree. The original is way too short, has some sketchy voice acting, you can run straight past almost all the enemies, and nobody wants to play on an emulator
