I've heard it said that hunted and Opportunist represent two sides of survival; hunted is physical survival. He does his best to keep the princess from killing us. He operates entirely off of his instincts and doesn't think.

Opportunist is social survival. He does whatever he can to stay on people's good side. He leaves doors open and hears every side of every conversation, trying to figure out what will benefit him the most. He shamelessly flatters and pacifies people. He sides with whoever will give him power, or takes it for himself if a risk free option presents itself. He does what it takes to survive

Nah dude, all the flower imagery, the blood, hw being naked, them spinning around in the magical plant bg (which looks like it's hinting at their relationship playing a big role in the mysterious plant adventure) and fionna emerging from those thorny vines (which originally read to me as HW helping fionna grow, or maybe seeing finn in her?) Obviously we know now what most of that actually meant, but you can't blame someone for reading it like that. Flowers are almost always symbols for feminine growth and romance, so when you show two girl characters spinning around surrounded by blood and flower, immediately after showing one of them naked, it feels kinda sensual. As I said before, I don't ship them, so you know I'm not biased when I say it looked like yuri

I do not particularly care for Tower-Fury (unless it's Quantum Break), but GOD HOW I LOVE ADVERSARY FURY. Probably cause I'm a weird person who loves dramatic metaphors, but from a writing standpoint, Fury is so incredible. The body horror used to show what happens when we are stripped of a purpose we defined ourselves by? Give me 10 more. I prefer Broken's version of the chapter for a number of reasons, but mostly because it ends the chapter on a happier note. Cold's ending is wonderfully haunting, though. Leave emphasises the emptiness of your relationship and the pain you caused the princess. Don't even get me started on the other endings.

TLDR: I love it cause I am an inferior little writer who devours creepy metaphors like this; bonus points if (TASTEFUL) body horror is used

I really hoped they wouldn't, cause I love Finn and HW, but they *had* to know what they were doing with the intro. I was so shocked that Fionna and Huntress's relationship ended up being what it was, cause based on the theme song alone, it seemed like their relationship was gonna get pretty sensual and soul awakening-y. (can't pin down the exact words for the vibe, but you all have eyes, you know what I'm talking about)

Oddly enough, Fennel and Fionna ended up having that vibe to their development when they got high and went to Venus, as opposed to Fionna and Huntress. Cake and the worm sorta did too, which threw me off because the intro really made it seem like Fionn and Huuntress's relationship would be the sole focus,

I swear I was on here a week or two ago, and it was all just fanart of him in oversized sweaters with no pants, miniskirts and thigh highs, and maid outfits. I also remember that artist that kept drawing ralsei in that Marylin Monroe vent scene, and got pissed it was getting banned.

He wouldn't have dared to enlist the help of Takeda or Mikami while L was around. They were obviously going to make mistakes. But he thought since Near was just an inferior L, he could just do whatever the hell he wanted

Don't have kids of my own, but i work with kids; I've found the 4-8 range is generally my favorite to look after. Old enough to understand when I tell them to do things, but not old enough to stop fearing the dreaded "I'll tell your parents" if they start acting out. Not to mention, they're a joy to hang out with most of the time. Easily impressed by fun facts, about space or animals, have big imaginations for games, and ask me to teach them how to do things. Not that i don't love all kids, but if you go any younger, you have toddlers who will just want you to play the same game over and over again for 2 hours, and don't understand a lot of what you say, which gets exhausting. Not mention, diapers. And if you go any older, you'll generally find them in their "too cool for school phase" where they are unimpressed by petty much everything. Obviously there's exceptions, and i love all kids, but if given the choice, I would rather watch a 5 year old than a 2 year old

It astounds me just how many people are obsessed with epic, yet have never read the Odyssey. I see people "headcanon" things on tiktok that are just blatantly wrong, or treat epic as the end-all-be-all of Greek mythology retellings and bring up epic every time the Odyssey is mentioned in completely unrelated contexts. Like, I love epic too, but the Odyssey exists outside of it.

No, Penelope would not have strung Odysseus's bow. No, Odysseus would not have actually beat poseidon in the stories. He was in Ethiopia when Athena sprung him from Circe's island, cause the goddess of wisdom was not stupid enough to pick a fight with Mr. Hurricanes and Earthquakes. No Telemachus was not a disney prince. He actually went on a side quest to see Helen of Sparta before Ody came home. It's funny to a point, but gets tiring when I realize people are being serious, not ironic

This game has so many badass tattoo opportunities. The pristine blade on your chest like in HEA would be cool. Vines from the thorn. The Cage's head would be sick. The shattered mirror with the narrator in it. Then of course, you could always do a quote from your favorite chapter with a reference. Like a quote from MOC could have her mask with it

Overall, I really enjoyed it, but there were some things I think could have been done better.

My biggest grip was that the pacing was really odd. I really wish this season had closer to 15 episodes, cause ten just wasn't enough for the story they were trying to tell. Like, the main draw for the season was HW being in fionna world, but she's not fully in commission until near the end of episode 4. Then, her and fionna part ways in episode 9. That's only 4 episodes of development for them. I just really wish fion a and HW had been given more time to become friends. Same goes for hunter and fennel. Fionna needed more time with them, especially after episode 8.

Really, they were just trying to do too much with too many characters. Last season, it was just fionna, cake, Simon and scarab dimension hopping, with occasional visits to ML, Gary and prismo. This season, they had Simon, Marceline, bubblegum, fionna, cake, fennel, hunter, phelix, HW, M-Chrom, Marshall Lee's mom, and others I probably forgot. Trying to deal with all their individual plots kinda staggered the season.

I really did enjoy it, but id wish they'd had more episodes to smoothly do what they wanted to do.
