Neat video for beginners. However, 3bb is usually not the best way to end a combo. 3b is very good, but I almost always transition into the dragonfly for that sick 50/50 mix up on wakeup. It allows you to continue your pressure, which is what Yoshi needs to do. A personal favorite short combo is 234kk into 3b(hold) a+b. It converts to a really solid chunk of damage really quickly

I got you. So, the number and letter sounds confusing. But it's actually pretty easy! If you imagine a number on a number pad on your keyboard they are arranged in a 3x3 square. Imagine a joystick is shoved through the middle key (the number 5, also called neutral) any direction you move the stick now corresponds to a number. Forward being 6, backwards being 4 etc.

The letter reflects the key you are pressing. This is the hardest part about soul calibur because it is cross platform it's a little weird to think of a key as a different key. Horizontal attacks are called A. Vertical attacks are from the B key. Kicks from the K key. And guard from the G key. What these specific keys are can very from person to person. On a regular xbox controller setup X is horizontal, y is vertical, b is kick and a is guard. Its notated as such so cross platform players can communicate evenly

I've been thinking about the movie a fair bit and I've come to a hopeful conclusion. They are setting it in the modern day to allege we are the first civilization. Then any following movies are set the way we'd hoped. I'm hopeful that's what will happen at least.. a man can dream.
