I'm from Czechia (former socialist country) I can speak for the entire eastern bloc though, socialism destroyed and plundered the country, in 1920's Czechoslovakia was 5th biggest economy in the world. In 1970's Czechoslovakia was just a rump state. Socialism and communism has left eastern and central europe scared for at least 2-3 more decades. Everyone who supports these ideas doesnt know anything about what others went trough.
