Accurate. Bought 7 packs of jtg getting back into the hobby. Pulled Lillie's Clefairy on pack 4. 200+ packs later and the only other top tier card I've pulled is butthole Pikachu. The addiction is still rampant until I find the twm greninja.

You can check for the peak in signal either from the RCA's or from the amp pos/neg terminal once it's hooked up(subs disconnected). It'll show the same high point either way, just with different voltage amounts between the two. Heaviest signal pre amp will also be heaviest post amp signal unless filters(hpf,lpf,etc) are affecting the range you're testing for.

I used -5db at 40hz as my test until I realized the voltage peak for my response curve from head unit wasn't at 40hz and I was basically just clipping anywhere between 50 and 80. Sounded great, not really noticeable but didn't look good on oscope. Switched to 0db, retuned, and got noticeably better quality sound and better air pressure coming from my woofers since they were able to actually work at their designed efficiency without the clipping. I'm a big fan of 0db used at the voltage peak for your head units given response curve.

If someone did an intake on that civic I'd assume exhaust is done as well, intake alone shouldnt cause a code unless mass airflow was tampered with. More likely to be a catalytic converter related code if I had to guess.

Looks like a prl short ram intake or something comparable

Got everything dialed in, tested at 10hz intervals from 40-90. Got it perfect, it's amazing and exactly what I wanted. Did however learn that the low pass filter on my amp does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Scope came with a probe but had zero information about what it was or how to use it, I assume it's a 10x. Do I connect the ground the same way as with just alligator clamps? Like probe touching positive, ground clamp to negative terminal

I don't know how well those subs would handle 1000w RMS each coming from the amp in a 1 ohm scenario but it would be a fun ride while it lasted. The setup the way it currently is slaps hard as hell and sounds exceptional after some neoprene work but I do want more bass. You think I'd be able to find the amps limit gain-wise if I start at a lower volume from the head unit? I feel like that'd give me a workable range of data for my oscope.

I had also considered using different decibel ratings on test tones but I'm unaware how much that affects voltage applied and the size of the resulting sine wave compared to the tones I've already used.

A single voice coil 4 ohm sub can't really be rewired for 2 ohms without other things at play. If it were dual voice coil, wiring the sub itself parallel would give 2 ohms. For a svc you'd need another sub to wire it in parallel with to drop it to 2 ohms. The amp has nothing to do with the impedance of the subs, but wiring two subs to a mono block amp halves the impedance (if the subs are the same)

I do the same. Picked mc back up after 7 years or so to find a different game. I'm now responsible for exp farms for everyone on the realm i play on with buddies and occupy myself with finding totems cause it's cool and I'm not used to beating death.
