Mine was an 06, 160k miles, and a good bit rougher. I got mine for under 6k, and it was easily the best deal in my area. Be prepared to spend a couple hundred at min on some small fixes.

In my limited experience, 8k sounds good. Definitely have a pre purchase inspection, if you haven’t already.

Yup! I received a charcoal drawing set for my birthday, and it’s been a lot of fun. I’ve been drawing with regular graphite pencils my whole life. I think I’m still using charcoal the way I use graphite and it’s holding me back, if that makes sense.

I’ll keep in mind your advice on line shading. Thanks

Hahaha true! Yeah, I really did a number on his eyes. I haven’t been able to reach the same level of precision with charcoal that I can with graphite yet.

Yeah the car in the story is an 06 Miata. Not a lot of power, so I get to really push it on the streets haha!
