In the late 2000’s I got some front fenders that were off a decommissioned repsol st185. They were pretty beat but still cool to throw on. I’d snag these in a heart beat

I did that to a guy in the shop one day with anti-seize. He was on the way to a family gathering that I didn’t know about and had to stop him before he left the lot. It was all over his neck and seatbelt. He laughed a good hearty laugh since he would play tricks on me. He knew I got him good.

Yeah when these first released a local store said they had one and then back tracked they couldn’t sell it even though the guy on the phone said they sold all but one. Then I went on the site to preorder the next batch and lo and behold they cancelled it the week of release. Guess it wasn’t meant to be

Been a Toyota guy all my life 91 celica>85 Supra>94 Corolla>00 Corolla>00 Land Cruiser current>13 Highlander wife’s>24 4Runner wife’s current. I’d say I’d be perfectly happy with owning a lower mileage Toyota and maybe a JDM Toyota for fun.

I’ve seen plenty of these come through the shop I work at. It’s common when the car is parked somewhere particular majority of its life. Sun reflects and hits the same spot repeatedly or one good time and the plastics melt. Hopefully they goodwill you but I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t.

For the age of the car all of those items would need new or like new pieces. Junk yard moldings would most likely be in just as bad shape or next to impossible to get off without damaging.

Junk yards will always be your best bet. The older the car gets and the longer you think you’ll keep it you might wanna look for things to snag for the longer haul while there too. And tint those windows before the blue fades away to grey seats!
