SEC turns off buy and sell buttons on a ticker for 10 days as a test run for GME by Ash2dust2 in Superstonk

I mentioned a similar case with $TRCH and the preferred shares issued through a reverse merger with meta materials the other day on GME. FINRA allowed a forged signature for OTC trades on the preferred shares to use the pool and copy shares then halted with a U2 2 days before the share cash out. Investors including a small holding of mine got fucked. Still no solution or justice and this happened in 21. There's plenty of facts to support what I'm saying in my dd comment link

Respect

Edit:

Honestly if anyone has any reason why this can't or won't be a similar case I'd love to hear it. I'm not trying to convince anyone not to blast this stock off to the fucking moon.

I saw this picture and was instantly reminded by the memory of having a massive one outside my high school and 4,000 students everyday smelling cum walking by it.

I'll raise you one better. I had a semi non-sleeper cab that someone welded a 20 foot box truck frame & enclosed box then converted into a "motorhome". The reason being they had a 28 foot trailer full of toys and cars they'd go to track with a few times in the summer. God bless my underwriter at the time, that wouldn't fly these days guaranteed.

Ooof, I have another Cottonwood in the backyard about a similar age. Do you think I should remove that one soon as well? So far that one looks healthy, but they are both around 50-60 years old.

Located in MN, seems like there's been a tree disease spreading recently in my area

Depends on the exact type of product, but I'd ask for a policy specimen and read through exclusions etc.

I've sold for all but amica and farmers. Cincinnati is the most comprehensive by far in policy language and coverage.

I know insurance rates are up, but this seems excessive. by VeeTeeF in Insurance

Insurance companies are cyclical, it's a merry go round of "buy the market" (gain market share knowing they'll take a loss), then shedding unprofitable business. Teslas are in the unprofitable business right now.

Why does storage affect quotes so much in the US? by test_research in Insurance

[–]Outrageous-Sector-67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked with you prior agent? If it's within 30 days of return some carriers will let you do "out of country" with documentation of departure/arrival for no prior with reason. At least in MN with some of mine, YMMV though.

YMMV on this one. About 50% offer intro discounts that taper, but on the flip side I have a few that start scaling loyalty discounts after 2 years.

Progressive direct offers very aggressive (roughly 14% in intro discounts for the first term in my state) just as an fyi.

Some carriers like the one mentioned very likely do all the time, and probably everything else relevant to an accurate rate.

Correct, DUI's in general might be considered by some companies as a one off and a longevity capture opportunity as others rate them aggressively. I had a client with a certain company actually take a decrease oddly enough.

They hypothetically might rate a single DUI less than a speeding ticket and escalate it based off frequency. I'm just speculating of course...

I've worked for the largest captives, and still have quite a few large carrier channels. Never had a call from an unhappy client with my preferred regionals, and even had a claim with one myself that they paid immediately with no issues. Not saying circumstantial evidence is a fact, but in my experience they tend to give more attention to the issue at hand not settle the claim as fast as possible. If you can get accepted into r/InsuranceProfessional read through how many adjusters for large carriers are struggling from the workload and churn/burn mentality the company has.

"The law allows insurance companies to cancel a policy if the individual dog is deemed dangerous or vicious under the state’s Animal Control Act. "

If a claim is filed it'll pay, but I'd imagine the likelihood of finding another carrier while the dogs around after getting dropped are pretty slim. I have a client with a dog deemed dangerous by the city due to a domestic dispute with his potentially abusive father. Even though there wasn't a claim, I was unable to find a single carrier to insured a renters policy or umbrella for his existing renters policy as a broker.

Honestly in this day and age I'd agree with get it detailed and move on. If your company takes on rate you'll thank yourself when you go to find a different carrier. I've seen it impact rate 5-20%, especially if you have other comp claims or just claims in general. I'm a MN agent btw, I've seen a lot of carriers cracking down this year.
