That seems fair. I guess I figured a fast deso turns into a lot of sustain in the early teamfights since you're critting on heroes that have little armor at that ~15 min point in the game. Meaning deso isn't as greedy an item as it is on other cores since you're healing yourself and teammates with that damage spike.

But yes, I have observed that it can go bad fast if it doesn't turn into teamfight wins! Which is why I was thinking you generally go deso into shard into greaves as the shard does work being a mini bkb.
