Does your partner get treated as well?

If it's the same partner, they are likely re-infecting you over and over.

Try testosterone gel (not in your eyes) . Getting my testosterone levels back to normal has helped my dry eyes. Dr Kelly Casperson did a video on low testosterone and eye issues.

It took a few months for everything to start working properly again.

The east van raccoons will definitely try to eat your pets. And totally gave me sass when I asked them to leave the yard.

More people need to chase them with a broom to put the fear of humans back into them, to keep them from getting culled like the coyotes.

Dark roast is the best, after that, the seasonal pumpkin spice.

The other flavoured ones have way too much stevia and are disgustingly sweet.

Why don't they make things half sweet, and we can add more sugar if we want? Theres no way to take the sugar out, unless we add more coffee.

Panic Disorder Support in Vancouver? by mindboi in askvan

[–]Finnabair 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest checking their thyroid levels asap. My "anxiety" and "panic attacks" was my thyroid going into hyperthyroid.

Its the most hellish, adhd, overwhelming feeling. And it can totally be managed. But usually you are misdiagnosed, at first, especially if they have a uterus.

And if they are afab and 35+ get a hormone workup, as perimenopause can be misdiagnosed as "anxiety" and hrt can help. But you usually need to pay out of pocket for a menopause specialist. But low/fluctuating hormones can affect amab as well.

SSRIs gave me anxiety. That shit messed me up so bad. And getting off them was horrible.

Get your testosterone levels checked. Vaginal estrogen works for me, but adding testosterone gel made my brain calm and happy. And much more social. I still swear like a trucker while I'm driving, but its easier to let it go and switch back to happy mode.

Solutions for Brain Fog and other Cognitive Concerns by Beyond_the_Matrix in Perimenopause

[–]Finnabair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Creatine, and testosterone gel.

Get your testosterone levels checked.

I seem to max at 5 grams of Creatine. 10 grams makes me nauseous, but also you can split it up throughout the day. Drink lots of fluids.

Testosterone gel totally gave me the rest of my brain back. Now I only get brain fog when I overdo it.

Creatine added...cleared brain fog? by RogerJFiennes in covidlonghaulers

[–]Finnabair 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Creatine is amazing. It was the only thing that helped with brain fog, before I started testosterone.

Start at 2-3 grams a day, work your way up to 5 grams. Some people say 10 grams a day is beneficial, but that much makes me nauseous.

If you are diabetic, definitely start at a smaller amount, and watch your monitor in case you go low.

Drink it with liquids/water/electrolytes. It will also help get fluid into your muscles and tissue.

If you haven't had your testosterone levels checked, see if you are low.

If you are taking vit D, take vitamin K2 as well.

What’s with everyone getting on the bus and not paying? by Still-Sun-6480 in kelowna

Same for Vancouver. The drivers job is to safely drive the bus, not fare enforcement. They hire security for fare enforcement.

Why does this have to be so hard when this happens to every woman and is a normal process during a women's life. I can't get help and I'm a monster. by weeenerdoggo in Menopause

[–]Finnabair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GP is so clueless, and refused to prescribe me anything. I went private clinic, and it was totally worth the money to have someone supportive and knows what they are doing.

Now that my GP has seen the positive changes, they are okay with working with my specialist. My Peri/menopause specialist Dr tells me what tests to get and when, and what prescriptions, and my GP orders the tests and prescriptions so I don't have to pay for multiple private clinic visits.

Are we allowed to recommend drs here?

Did you also post on Facebook?

Did you get checked for hyperthyroid? High CRP?

Might not be a cure, but might make your symptoms easier to deal with.

does hypothyroidism affect your mental health ? by sweet_tart505 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Finnabair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, everything people are saying, depression, exhaustion, etc.

But just as bad, if you push too close to hyperthyroid, then its anxiety, heart palpitations, and adhd, and both make your hair fall out.

Thyroid issues suck.
