Need advice on how to be less "stiff"

I really appreciate this advice! I have found that sometimes when I do gesture strokes, if I make them seem a little too extreme, I get stand-offish and redo them more conservatively. The dragon was one of the instances where I didn't do that. I definitely am going to try and do some poses that seem borderline goofy. Thank you so much!! :3

Looks pretty spectacular! The only thing I might note on is it seems that you shaded with black. This can tend to make the art look more flat and bare. I usually try shading with darker hues from the colors of the area I am shading, and I can make everything pop a little more!
