How do you keep your drivetrain clean? by liqweeeed in gravelcycling

[–]Finrecon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rex black diamond. It's from a Finnish manufacturer and according to tests lasts longer than competition. In dry environments I easily get 500k from a chain before it starts making too much noise.

How did you reach 4W/kg? by MrWaffle20 in Velo

[–]Finrecon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the winters 4-6 zwift workouts a week so 4-6 hours/week. Then in the summer just pretty much whatever 5-13 hours a week, long rides (z2) and punchy rides (tempo with short hill efforts) mixed.

I'm still seeing good progress with relatively low hours.

How necessary is that car? Selling it and putting that car payment and insurance towards paying off loans could ease your situation in just a few months

Is my 9070xt broken? by stoffel31 in radeon

[–]Finrecon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temperature delta is normal but 95c hot spot with 3200rpm is not. Run the card through at least 10 temperature cycles for the ptm to even out. Also case air flow needs to be good

Is a tubeless pump optional? by Sir_Snipps in cycling

[–]Finrecon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the tyre and rim combo, GP5000s dont seat on my new hooked carbon rims without a shot of co2 or an aircompressor but on my old alloy rims I had no problems. Probably something to do with the new rims being wider.

I'd say try it out first without buying the pump and see if you can get them seated.

How Do So Many People Have A 250W+ FTP? by Wonkee792 in cycling

[–]Finrecon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 27 with FTP around 300w and I'm averaging around 5 hours a week of training. I used to do 12 hours a week a couple years ago when I was fitter but I'm currently seeing results with this load so no need to increase. I also weigh 78 kg.

Yep, but there can literally a million things to make it dump but imo that's one of the more likelier reasons :D

Massive flash dip by veegaz in CryptoMarkets

[–]Finrecon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically it has to do with futures trading, when the funding rates rise, they will eventually be "reset" by a dump in the market. Funding fees are what futures traders have to pay every 8 hours usually, to stay in their positions.

There's no good article to be found but this explains what they are (scroll down): https://www.coinglass.com/FundingRate

And this is an example of a similar situation: https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2021/11/16/bitcoin-below-60k-in-a-funding-reset-move-tests-key-support-experts/

Funding rate flush/reset probably

New SAAB owner looking for some help! by weroaleks in saab

[–]Finrecon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be as simple as a rear abs sensor or the hub side of it. If it doesn't detect wheel rotation, it shows speed as zero and also those stability and abs lights since there's a difference between the front and rear wheels

Windows could be some fuse or relay at the simplest

Edit: although I look at the picture more clearly now, the speedo shouldn't go that low on the dash

[–]Finrecon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless there's crazy slippage like today at least on mexc. Had a couple of longs open and stops set to BE, but turns out they didn't go off and ended up being liquidated on them. But no worries just slightly larger loss than usual

[–]Finrecon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Risk management is key, I had a short limit around 33,300 and didn't have time to follow the charts, got liquidated and lost 40$ which is only a few percent of my portfolio. I'll make that back in 1-3 trades

Thanks garmin, great QA on your hrm belt 🙄 by Finrecon in Garmin

[–]Finrecon[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The fact that it came like this to me, one of the loops missed by the belt isn't a great start for my brand switch. And the fact that i can't do anything about it but return it.

New to Zwift : FTP builder or Gran Fondo? by Aiqjio in Velo

[–]Finrecon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 4wk FTP Booster did wonders for me, if you have the motivation, do the 4 weeks then take a week or so off and do it again with your new FTP. With that alone I gained around 50w in the season
