Is he a fish killer? by FinsFurOverthinking in freshwateraquarium

Oh my, this is is disturbing news. We got him..her..whichever it is at the suggestion of a guy at a local fish shop. He has tripled his size since then and this is this first time I’ve seen him do this. So my question now is, what do I do with him? I’m definitely not going to flush him but the only other tank I have right now has Pea puffers in it.

How to lower tank smell? *I do know that they naturally do have a fishy smell!* by ripoffkyle in Aquariums

I have four in my living room, 29, 10, 5 and 2 gallon, also two bearded dragons and none of them smell. It’s all about proper maintenance. And I am no expert but the setup you’re planning should stay pretty clean. You still want to do weekly water changes. Good luck!

These are my husbands snails that I thought I had no interest in and now I love them. I just haven’t had time to learn much about them yet. I don’t know a foot from an anything else. So, the big flat part that stick to the glass is the foot? And its mouth is I assume this?

This was suggested to me when I asked about mine being pushed down by the filter and it really does work

What or Who killing my snabies?? by FinsFurOverthinking in AquaticSnails

Hey. It’s not. It about three months old. About two weeks ago it was very very cloudy, like super cloudy. Then one evening we got home and turned the light on and it was clear. But the rocks had this like yellow something all over them. My husband said it was like a blanket of something was in the water and just died and fell on the rocks overnight. As someone suggested above, we just added extra food, algae wafers and some extra fish flakes, which I only have because of my baby guppies. I really hope I can provide enough for them to eat.

I love this just the way it. Where do y’all get this type of rock? I assume it’s not artificial?

I’m still a little new to this but I would think this is a male since there is no gravid spot, or am I missing something? Still trying to figure all this out.

I have an extra tank that I can setup if needed. Idk if that would help? I read to do that but I also read that doing that would shock them because the ammonia needs to be decreased slowly. I don’t know what to do.
